After strolling around in the TST neighbourhood we felt hungry and just entered one of the many local eateries. We decided to pick this eatery since 1) a lot of other people were having lunch there 2) it looked clean 3) we wanted to grab a quick bite.Their house specialty is Congee, but we both took a noodle soup. Their house specialty is Congee, but we both took a noodle soup. My BF had a Sheu Kau Rice Vermicelli soup and I took a combination of Cow Stomach and Beef Stew noodle soup. Both noodle soups arrived within 5 minutes and it looked promising, very authentic and tasty.
It turned out to be very tasty. They wrapped a whole Shrimp in the Sheu Kau and it was juicy and chewy. My Cow stomach and Beef stew noodle soup was above expectations, though I would have been happier if they would provide me more Cow Stomach and Beef Stew in the noodle soup.
The taste of the soup alone was good enough, but I love my food spicy and I put in a couple of spoons Chili oil. The Chili oil needs praise too, it was very fragrant and spicy, without the burning your mouth after effect.
We were very happy to have stumbled upon this humble eatery where they serve delicous noodle soups.
