We tried out this new modern Japanese restaurant that a foodie friend recommended and was pleasantly surprised when we entered the izakaya, as the interior design and atmosphere was so trendy. Staff is very nice and recommended a nice rich sake from a wide range of Sake selection and the live jazz band was great to have in the background. My favorite dishes were the sando and scallops. Staff is very nice and recommended a nice rich sake from a wide range of Sake selection and the live jazz band was great to have in the background. My favorite dishes were the sando and scallops. The wagyu was juicy and tender and the scallops were so refreshing and flavourful. Although we were full, we couldn’t miss the dessert and we went with the mango cha cha, which was incredibly delicate and not too sweet. We can’t wait to visit Silencio again with more friends for our next gathering to try the rest of the dishes.
