It’s the last day of Restaurant Week HK Spring 2021! And this was one of my more highly anticipated restaurants to try out. I wanted to book this place last year, but it was fully booked. So I count down the minutes in hopes to get a booking this time around. And I did! Overall, I thought the service and restaurant was beautiful. So I count down the minutes in hopes to get a booking this time around. And I did! Overall, I thought the service and restaurant was beautiful. However, the food did not really “blow my mind.” Not sure if it’s because I had high expectations, but the highlight of the whole meal was the seaweed butter that came with the bread. The wagyu beef was a bit chewy, and the beef was not really cooked to medium as I requested. I do have one tip if you are going to try out this restaurant. The chefs put these pairings for a reason, and I would try eating all the different ingredients at once. It does make a difference!!! Overall, I’m glad I was able to try this place out, but I’m not sure if I am willing to pay the regular price for these items.
