laksa 和 Kaya Toast

The owner claimed to be a Singaporean and said that the Laksa tasted just like the Singapore one.... it's not true cos I am a Singaporean. The laksa is tasteless, very diluted, not like the Singapore Laksa at all, the 2 side dishes that come with the set, 福州鱼圆and 香叶烤鱼胶(Otar) are not authentic too, In Singapore 福州鱼圆is like a big white ping-pong ball, here is a small ball fried till light golder colour, Otar should be spicy and well marinated, here is just like 鱼片. And the Kaya toast is a bluff too, it's just toast with some coconut paste, the real Kaya is not just coconut. I have no confidence after that, so didn't try the dessert. Although the owner is very polite , I find hime not sincere. If you like good Singapore Laksa, try KATONG LAKSA at 上环ｍａ沙街, it's very similas to the Singapore one.
