Dined with a friend a few weeks ago and had a pleasant experience. Booking was for 8pm but my friend didn't arrive until later, the manager made sure that I had everything I needed. We requested for seats outside. The tables were relatively small but it was a cool day, so it felt wrong to pass up the chance. We requested for seats outside. The tables were relatively small but it was a cool day, so it felt wrong to pass up the chance. For people who want to sit outside: the road can get quite busy, so be prepared to have to speak up a bit every now and then when cars pass by/honk.
While waiting for my friend, I had an iced latte. The iced latte was served with syrup on the side, giving customers the choice of how sweet they would like it. Very thoughtful. It tasted like a normal latte, could do with a little bit less milk though.
As for our main dishes, I had the seafood risotto and my friend had a tomato pasta. The seafood risotto (around $100) was definitely worth the price. There were clams and shrimps, I didn't expect it to have a plate full of seafood so that was a nice surprise. For the tomato pasta, however, it was really plain. The tomato sauce tasted like it came out of a can do it was nothing out of the ordinary.
Overall, a good dining experience! The outdoor area was definitely an added bonus. Wish they had more options for desserts though, would've been a nice round up of the entire dinner!
Unfortunately, the only pictures we took were selfies - but worth the train ride to Tai Wai!
