Trying to find a new place for lunch in Central, we wandered into Souvla for some Ash Wednesday meatless fare. We were rewarded with seriously amazing food. Souvla gets a thumbs up in presentation, flavour, and value. The only problem I can think of was that the waiter didn't seem very happy.Go for the lunch buffet with a main dish included (only around HK$200). That's what Dan got. I failed to photograph the dessert, but the greek desserts were fantastic. Seriously, Greek desserts aren't preceded by their reputation, but what they have at Souvla was lip-smackingly good. Thinkg lemon meringue cream tarts, moist mediterranean sweet/fruity sponge cake (I forget the names), baklava, etc.So yeah, needless to say, this place comes highly recommended.
