Bánh Mì Kitchen is my favourite lunchtime venue at the minute. It’s a great menu, plenty of flavours, reasonably priced and quick. On this occasion, I visited on a Monday at 1pm. It’s a small shop down a side street in Central. There is a limited amount of space to stand and eat but the majority of the custom appears to be takeaway. On entry, there are several people waiting for their food but no queue to order. The décor is modern, clean and simple.The Vietnamese menu contains several variation
The Vietnamese menu contains several variations of their signature item (Cold Cut Classic). I can recommend them all! On this occasion, I ordered the beef brisket special. I had sriracha sauce instead of chillies. It took around 5 minutes to make and I took it back to my office to eat. It tasted great! There was so much flavour and texture amongst the meat and various fillings. The roll is crispy and there are crumbs (they provide a serviette) but it held its shape well and I didn’t lose any the filling as I ate it.
This is a fast-food lunch restaurant that delivers great food with plenty of flavours. The staff have always been extremely helpful in making recommendations. I will continue to visit a couple of times a week.
