I maybe easy to find good chinese style dessert in other part of Hong Kong but not in HK Island. The problem is that the rent is too high for a desert shop so HK Island doesn’t have much choice. Even if there is one dessert shop, it always is a western style / modern fusion style. We finally found one we like, one with history. Food is a big part of chinese medicine. The chinese dessert always have different health benefit. For example, we order black sesame paste in steam milk custard. It states that it’s good for hair growth.

We were really happy with the dessert. The top is steam milk custard (tender) underneath is the black sesame paste (liquid). Funny.
