Crispy sweet corn with crab meat. $118
There was absolutely no crab meat or crab flavor in this fritter but the corn was very sweet and delicious on its own and with the sweet and spicy sauce. Definitely not worth $118 for corn fritters.
Greyhound famous fried chicken wings $78
I order this every-time I go to any Greyhound so I knew what to expect but the serving size was much smaller than I have ever seen which was very disappointing. The taste was amazing as always but the size really threw me off.
Grilled wagyu khao soi $158
The portion was just enough for 2 people to get a taste of everything albeit there was a lot of beef. The soup was delicious and the noodles were very springy too. The wagyu was very tender and flavorful with a bit of smokiness and charred taste, albeit the smaller pieces were quite dry. but did not really have a place in the dish as everything seemed separated. The elements of the dish was good individually but when eaten together, the taste was confusing as the beef and curry sauce did not mix.
The service was terrible. Our table was directly under an air conditioner which made our food cold within minutes of eating. The roti for our curry arrived first and it was steaming when it did but waiting for the curry took about 7 minutes and by then the roti was stale was cold. Made eating the supposedly delicious curry, a horrible experience. We told the staff this problem as when we ordered a second roti for the leftover curry, the roti took 10 minutes to come and the curry became really cold and unappetizing. But their response was very immature as they just blamed the kitchen and said that they are very busy and cannot tend to everyone’s need.
This greyhound is by far the worst I’ve been to yet and I’ve been to quite a few around Hong Kong. This restaurant does not belong in Harbor City where it’s filled with high demanding restaurants with actual service.
