I live on Hong Kong Island and I rarely travel far to eat. However, because of my dad's friend's recommendation, we decided to try 容龙海鲜酒家.First thing I noticed as I entered the restaurant was that there were a lot of mainland tours dining there as well. It was quite noisy but we just ignored it.We ordered 黄金虾, 姜葱抄蟹, 姜葱焖蚝, 芝士龙虾, 老鼠班, 咕噜肉, 上汤豆苗. There was complimentary watermelon as dessert.Overall, the food was okay, but it was nothing special. We ordered 黄金虾, 姜葱抄蟹, 姜葱焖蚝, 芝士龙虾, 老鼠班, 咕噜肉, 上汤豆苗. There was complimentary watermelon as dessert.
Overall, the food was okay, but it was nothing special. It was not worth the long journey (took almost 2 hours from home to restaurant). Something to note: my dad got a stomach ache coming home after the meal. I most likely will not return.
