The place makes you feel like a trip back 20-30 years ago. The place is retro style decorated, even the dim lit environment has a very old taste to it.Starters = escargot baked on portobello mushroom. But here's the kick, the hot plate goes up in a spectacular flame, which is something you don't see. The lamb is well cooked, tinder and juicy. Not a bad dish. Seafood pasta is also quite good. But the winner is obviously the hot plate.
All sorts of old school Hong Kong style drinks available, such as black cow etc. But I tried this spanish chocolate drink, which is essentially a scoop of ice cream on iced coffee and sprinkled with choco powder. As the ice cream slowly melts, the iced coffee gains a smooth milky taste, which you cannot duplicate with normal milk. delicious!
