I visited this restaurant a week or two weeks ago, but couldn't forget their options of traditional Japanese food. That's whyI visited again. I visited this restaurant a week or two weeks ago, but couldn't forget their options of traditional Japanese food. That's whyI visited again.

We ordered one miso ramen and one pork cartilage ramen in miso soup. We additionally requested fried pumpkin potato cakes and potato salad topped with roe. These two sides were on their speciality menu which needed to ask for🤪

Miso ramen was served with one char siu and loads of vegetables. Char siu was in a big slice with visible fat layer. Ramen was al dante. Pork cartilage was served in a huge chunk. Very tender and juicy. Meat absorbed all the marinate. Sadly, neither of the meat contained cartilage which I like, they were more on the meat side. Ramen was served with generous amount of vegetables, cabbage, sprouts, corn, black fungus, bamboo shoot and topped with a goji berry. Overall, a satiating ramen.

Here it comes to the important part. I would highly recommend asking for their speciality menu despite it's written in Japanese. You could ask for their translate from the staff or there were few Chinese words too. The potato salad topped with roe was served with slices of seaweed. It was meant to spoon the salad on the seaweed and eat it like a wrap. It was phenomenal!🤩 The slightly salted roe gave a silky texture. Pairing with the smooth potato salad and the sprinkled spring onions. It was divine!💜
The fried pumpkin potato pancakes were in two huge potions. Crispy on the outside and smooth and silky on the inside🤩 You could taste the Japanese squash and it balanced the potato stuffing that whole big pancake didnt taste heavy at all; considering it was deep fried and with loads of carbs! 🤣 I even drizzled with lemon juice which brought some acidic lighter flavour. A very good job!

Once again, it didn't disappoint but even surprised me with more traditional small dishes! Highly recommend and will come back again 🤣🤣
