Edo & Bibo, an operation by the dining group ET Troop group, is a cosy, intimate steak house located next to Sogo in the heart of Causeway Bay. The restaurant now extends its menu to offer a selection of mouthwatering Sunday brunch dishes, and I was very eager to try them out! (1) We started the meal with some freshly shucked oysters ($108 3pcs). The restaurant offers oysters from different regions, such as Australia, France and South Africa. The prices for the oysters are very reasonable, and they tasted satisfying fresh!
(2) The classic eggs benedict ($88), served on lightly toasted multi-grain bread, was comforting, and I particularly enjoyed the buttery mashed potatoes on the side.
(3) We also ordered the classic eggs royale ($88), and I found the smoked salmon firm and pleasantly flavourful.
(4) The portion of the black truffle scrambled eggs ($108) was very generous, and the level of black truffle taste was just right. The grilled asparagus and baby potatoes were delicate and tasty.
(5) All of the above dishes include a cup of tea or coffee.
(6) If you feel like some alcoholic drinks, you can add $150 for 2 hours of free-flow Mimosa. The orange taste was very refreshing, but the drink could have been a tad more alcoholic.
If you come here for dinner, be sure to try one of their USDA Prime steaks, as the restaurant is renowned for their high quality meats!
