Was craving for hotpot yet looking for a decent place for a date night, I visited @victorianera_hk at Causeway Bay, superb location and decor. Interestingly, their new pink-themed hotpot menu caught my eyeballs!The 粉红玫瑰牛乳锅 Pink Rose Milk Hotpot was really instagrammable, its chicken broth infused with a milky flavor complemented the ingredients exceptionally well. For instance, the 粉红墨鱼滑 Pinky Cuttlefish Paste were handmade in-house daily. Their new meat platter 太极两仪 features Sliced Beef in Red

Also tasted as good as they look were the colourful meatballs and dumplings - 七彩饺子 & 七色丸.
Among all, my favourites of the night goes to Cuttlefish Paste w/ Okra & Crab Roe 秋葵蟹籽墨鱼滑 and Shrimp Paste w/ Century Egg 皮蛋虾滑 - both creative yet tasty.
To complete the experience, it's a great idea to order some really pretty mocktails, best way to cool yourself down and also serve as picturesque props!
