I was seeking a restaurant where allowing to sit hours to catch up with my best friend from overseas. Station 3 was the top few restaurants recommended by Openrice so that we made up our mind to try this restaurant.🤔Staff was welcoming and friendly to introduce us their lunch menu and discount items. My friend was fancy snacks rather than having a proper main, so we made out order all about their deep fried items 🤪. We ordered their Signature snack platter, mozzarella sticks and truffle fries. For drinks, we ordered two slushies, one blueberry and one pineapple/peach flavour.
Signature snack platter contained onion rings, deep fried dumplings, samosas, chicken wings and mozzarella sticks. Onion rings were alright, thin layer of batter and seasoned well. 🧅 Mozzarella sticks were melty and cheesy. Every stick guaranteed to have a cheese pull and crunchy. (I cant think of anything can go wrong.) 🧀Deep fried dumplings were drizzled with teriyaki sauce and mayonnaise. Too saucey for me that I spooned all out. Wrapper was crispy but stuffing was warm and on a cold side.😓 Samosa was the worst among all. One phrase could be rounding up, a deep fried spring roll wrapper stuffed with a coin size curry flavour unknown mixture. Not much curry flavour could be tasted and it was chewy. Just bad.🫤 Chicken wings were honey drizzled one. All cooked well but again serving it cold. 😐
Mozzarella sticks were again indulgent and hardly went wrong as long as it was hot. In fact, cheese pull was guaranteed and crispy. Nothing special. 😶
Truffle fries were quite in a big portion. Pretty satisfying. Not much truffle flavour unfortunately. Appreciated seasoned well with cracked black pepper, salt and parsley. Hot and crispy which was what it should be. 🍟
Two slushies were icy cold and every sip gave a brain freeze. Glad it wasn't too sweet even the colour told you it might be syrupy. Nice to have something cold under the heat.
Overall, food wasn't something caught your attention or memorable but having a place allowing to sit for hours was priceless.
P.s. Restaurant also provided board games for groups to play.
