No clue why so many Japanese customers go to Kichi. Maybe only to support the Japanese chef? Or because of the convenient location in Tsim Sha Tsui?The tamago maki was way too overcooked. No more silky texture. Oversalted. The karaage was also too dry. The flour was too thick and hard. The chicken was hot but juiceless. Most were just tough chicken breast.Price was not cheap either. $100 for a lunch set with no quality. I'd rather go to a local people run izakaya with quality instead.
