At 3pm on a Monday, this place was pretty busy doing an afternoon tea service. There is a tea set, which offers a small discount from the regular menu. The Pho smells good, and the serving is quite generous. The broth is dense with umami flavour, tasting meaty and less aromatic. It is very cloudy to the point of being milky, and fully seasoned so that no other condiments are needed. The noodles are soft, approaching, but not yet over-cooked - I ate quickly so that they wouldn't break apart. The noodles are topped with several slices of tender beef, which tasted fresh and of good quality.
The milk tea is standard, and the meal comes with a hot chinese tea.
Overall, an OK pho, and a good option to go down into the cool basement when it gets too hot and bright outside.
