Frankly speaking it was a rather disappointing experience. The food was rather unimpressive. Service was below standard. First of all, I really dislike the idea of having a proper meal on a tiny table that is really for serving drinks. If I am paying $300+ for a lunch at SOHO, I would accept that. Not for $500+ I paid inside a supposedly high end boutique hotel. Secondly, the kitchen staff and serving staff are all under-trained. Main course was served before the soup! What! It was a low class

Not for $500+ I paid inside a supposedly high end boutique hotel. Secondly, the kitchen staff and serving staff are all under-trained. Main course was served before the soup! What! It was a low class mistake. Kitchen staff made a mistake, head chef should be responsible. Serving staff didn’t check and carried on with the mistake, restaurant manager should be responsible! One of the staff tried to make things right and offered us free drinks which I appreciated. However damage was already done.
The restaurant manager sent me an email in the following day and ask if there is anything they can adjust prior to my next visit. So I reply with my above comment and I never hear back from the restaurant manager again. They was no sincerity when the email was sent, probably auto-sent by computer system. If you were me, can you think of a reason to go back? For the same price range I can easily name a number of Italian restaurants with better food and service quality.
