I have been longing for a good (cheap) banh mi in Hong Kong, and finally there is one opened in Central. The Original Banh Mi is $48, which is alright for Central. It comes with in-house baked French baguette with pâte spread, Vietnamese sausage slice, pickled carrots, coriander and chilli. It is not as thickly packed with Viet sausage slice like the ones I used to get from Vietnamese supermarkets in Chinatown (for like $12hkd), but this is good enough to fulfil my crave for banh mi. I might add $10 for extra meat next time just to make the sandwich more meaty. Recommend this place if you crave banh mi badly but do not want to pay $70+ in a sit-down restaurant for one. There is only a small corner for eat-in, so it's better to do takeout.
