Back Seat Cafe is one of many cha chan tengs in this hidden area of Causeway Bay. For those that didn't know. this small side street with small stalls selling clothes also has a number of restaurants. Most of them are very cheaply priced. Boyfriend had the baked pork chop rice ($45). Portion was really small. It also arrived very fast. I think boyfriend ordered and it came immediately. Makes me wonder if they just had all these pre-made and kept warm. The rice was mushy. The pork chop was tender but it lacked flavor. The tomato sauce was just a plain tomato sauce and not much else.
I had the fried chicken wings with salad ($39). The chicken wings were ok. Well seasoned. But the salad wasn't very y good. Just way too much mayo and a bit watery.
Food wasn't very good. But it seemed popular enough. I definitely won't be back.
