Been a fan of Senryo for years because of their quality sushi. This time we tried more cooked food and it’s also great! I think the oyster stew, beef tofu pot, salmon joint and ox tongue (in miso) tasted really Japanese. 🇯🇵 Of the raw foods, I particularly like the trio sashimi roll. It’s served with vinaigrette and I think it’s healthy as well as tasty. Other sushis were of course also very tasty and fresh. The sea urchin handroll was really tasty but the portion of sea urchin was too little, so I think it’s a bit expensive for its size.

I think the deep fried soft shell crab was also good but too small as well. 🙁

I had a high expectation on the wagyu foie gras sushi but I think the foie gras was too small that I couldn’t tell the buttery taste.

So yea you can’t get quality and quantity at the same time. 🙃 About the service, the waiters were quick and friendly as always. So overall, Senryo is still one of my most recommended Japanese restaurants in Hong Kong!
