There is a store selling a $5 tofu-fa and other similar stuff e.g. 'almond tofu-fa' a few shop spaces before this store, but because this store seemed more authentic (only sells original soy milk, tofu-fa and tofu products among a few other desserts), I picked this.I ordered it 'to-go' and paid the $6. I ordered it 'to-go' and paid the $6. Arrived home in less than 10 and it was still hot! It didn't look very neat anymore but it wasn't broken completely! The old lady had scooped the curds quite nicely.
The verdict: The texture was smooth and silky, not too 'firm', how I like it.
I would like to try the other shop next time to compare, but this place is just as good as the one I used to go in kowloon city, if not better, because of the amount and price.
Ps i also hate how honeymoon uses fake tofu pudding and serve only cold versions. They are set like jell-o, and taste awful, and not to mention, quadruple the price!
