Located at the inner opening area of some cramped residential buildings, it is not easy to figure out this little Japanese restaurant. Tiny seating area inside with 3-4 small tables, environment is cozy though not spacious. The restaurant operation is one-man band, cooks, serves and clean-up, etc. all by himself, one can expect to give more patience for the orders to come.My order was a Japanese-style grilled eel with rice, a signature dish of this restaurant. Located at the inner opening area of some cramped residential buildings, it is not easy to figure out this little Japanese restaurant. Tiny seating area inside with 3-4 small tables, environment is cozy though not spacious. The restaurant operation is one-man band, cooks, serves and clean-up, etc. all by himself, one can expect to give more patience for the orders to come.
My order was a Japanese-style grilled eel with rice, a signature dish of this restaurant. The ingredients were well-sourced, the food was done reasonably well. The meat texture was tender while the juice inside still preserved.

 The downside goes to the price, charged for nearly $100 including services charge, the dish didn't come with any starters/side dishes like miso soup or salad, which most of it's counterparts usually include. The served amount of rice was barely enough too, still feeling hungry after finishing the meal!
Pros: Tasty food, ingredients are well-sourced
Cons: Pricey
Verdict: Okay for try, nope for next visit, expected to get more at this price.
