We should have known when during a peak hour, we didn't need to wait for a table. This restaurant is a rip off with bad service.a few of us went for the '3 course set lunch'first course:a watery pumpkin soup option or a one time only salad bar which did not get replenished- eg. 6 slices of zucchinis for your pick. we figured ok, maybe this is just the first course and mains would be better.main: i ordered the "grilled rosemary spring chicken served with potatoes and lettuce". the most expensive

main: i ordered the "grilled rosemary spring chicken served with potatoes and lettuce". the most expensive option on the menu going at $125 before service.
i had expected well, a chicken. i got a chick? it was a quarter the size of regular chicken for a $125! the meat was tough and chewy as if reheated in a microwave. 5 (1/4s) of a potato and some leaves of lettuce without dressing! ridiculously small portion! and this is not a TAPAS BAR!?!
my friend ordered the BLT sandwich- a rock hard bun with perhaps again microwaved dried bacon that could break your front teeth.
and by the way, food was 'served' by throwing the plates on the table.
dessert: mud cake was written on the board. i expected a slice of mudcake. the slice we each had was no longer than my thumb length - i'm a small girl, my thumb length is 4cm. yes, baby sized portion.
we asked the staff to call the manager over. the staff went to the bar where the manager was. the manager in full visibility of us just ignored the call. we waited another 5 min and asked another staff to call the manager. the manager again did not come and asked the staff to ask us what we wanted. we were fed up. we walked over...to which the manager asked what's our problem??
we told him about the service and asked why he didnt come over. he said he was busy.
right. there were staff standing around that could help him make drinks he was making. i suppose drinks making took priority over customer service. without any sincere apology, he shoved us some meal cards and said 'ok i apologise' as if to get us out of the restaurant.
he did not even ask how else he could improve the service. what could he do etc.
ZERO SERVICE. HUGE PRICES. BAD LEADERSHIP. extremely disappointed and feel ripped off.
