There is a long held belief that Shatin/Tai Wai have the best roast pigeon and bean curd in Hong Kong, and this may be one reason that sustains the business of Shui Wah. Almost everyone who comes here would order the roast pigeon, which comes with crispy shrimp chips. The other dishes that I like are 虾籽柚皮, steamed bean curd with preserved mustard greens. The same "soup of the day", which is a fish and squash soup, is invariably on the menu every Sunday, which reveals the lack of imagination of the chef. Don't miss the sweet bean curd, a light and refreshing dessert that is complimentary.

The service is average, but the food is a bit pricey.
