Hmm... it said “afternoon tea” on the menu. Sometimes I really got confused in Hong Kong. Afternoon tea is often a fancy three-layered tea set served with coffee or tea, sandwiches, scones, and desserts. What I had was high tea. The reason it’s called high tea was back then it’s served to workers, usually sat on high chairs to enjoy some food with a big pot of tea after a hard work day. That’s why it’s called “high” tea.
