I am a New Yorker working at Cosco Tower Central for a couple of years. I love exploring new restaurants and food joints within 200 meters. Today I walked towards Queen Road West and I found a very unique hot dog stand. The mix and match style of their hot dogs and snacks really impressed me.I had a Krypto dog topped with XO sauce and sprinkled with lemon rind. I had a Krypto dog topped with XO sauce and sprinkled with lemon rind. The XO sauce was not a ready made sauce but a homemade specialty. It was not spicy but yet full of aroma. It matched tremendously with the lemon rind. A real love at first bite! The sausage was crunchy, very fresh and juicy while the bun was soft. Besides the Krypto dog, I ordered an onzen egg salad ($20) with sesame dressing and a tomato soup ($15). The salad is one of the must try item because the onzen egg is just right, the yolk being creamy which matches very well with the sesame dressing. You must try their chunky tomato soup, you will be amazed how a sprig of fresh herbs can totally upgrade the taste.
The Krypto dog is their September special. According to the shop owner, they feature every month a special hotdog. If you are like me working nearby, you should definitely come here to try their unique & creative food ideas!!
