Love this HK-rooted no-frills street snack. With many variety on offer nowadays, ranging from fancy flavoured ones like chestnut 🌰 matcha 🍵, all to way to savoury once like seaweed and pork floss, and salted eggs; this shop has stuck with its OG form for the past years. I picked up some the other day from a shop that I’ve visited many years ago, looking for something to nibble on 😅. With many variety on offer nowadays, ranging from fancy flavoured ones like chestnut 🌰 matcha 🍵, all to way to savoury once like seaweed and pork floss, and salted eggs; this shop has stuck with its OG form for the past years. I picked up some the other day from a shop that I’ve visited many years ago, looking for something to nibble on 😅.

The egg waffles here were superb, crispy on the outside and is puffy and spongy on the inside. And I love its therapeutic crispy noise as your crack them out into pieces 🔊. Even thought I carried it around for 15 minutes before I started munching on them, the outer shell remained super crispy 😍😍.
