Menu is in Chinese only. There is no English. Ordering is done by scanning a QR code which is also in Chinese. However, the menu has photos of all the food. You can choose your tempura served in a donburi or as set with a bowl of rice or noodle. Boyfriend had the Shrimp and Conger Eel Tendon ($88). There was also pumpkin, shitake mushroom, imitation crab stick and green beans. It looked impressive but once biting in, there wasn't much flavour. And some of them were a bit soft. The shrimp was not crisp enough so you couldn't eat the tail. The conger eel was a bit too mushy. The only stand out was the imitation crab stick. This came with a bowl of miso soup. It was ok. Boyfriend added Tempura Sweet Potato ($12). The menu said there should be two but when it arrived there was three. Unsure why. Perhaps the size was a bit small? But these weren't very good. Not too sweet and a bit too oily. I had the Tempura with Cold Soba ($86). My set of tempura was the same as boyfriend except I didn't have conger eel and had two smaller shrimp. It also came with a tempura sauce. The soba was ok but portion size was a bit smaller than other tempura places I've been to.
For a fast food place, it wasn't very good. I've been to the one in Japan and this is a far cry from the one there. Won't really be back as there are better tempura don places in Hong Kong.
