River snails are not very common in Hong Kong because the preparation is time-consuming. So thrilled to find out that spicy river snails are available at at Kam Hing as a standard menu!They have a lot of pre-cooked dishes like other Chiu Chow restaurants, such as pig red with raddish and chicken feet with peanuts. Best part was the innards and crunchy shells at the tip of the snail.
Fried morning glory with shrimp paste had a good wok-hei smoky flavor. Served quickly upon order and extremely hot.
Beer was ice cold. Strong aircon. Would go back for other unique dishes like fried Asian date mussels with chili and basil.
