We went for the 3-course brunch menu at $368 (+10%), there are also alternatives with 2 courses and 5 courses.
Service was impeccable with low waiter-to-customer ratio, and the waiters seemed knowledgeable about the courses. I went for:
1. Entree: marinated tomato with avocado and crab salad, with a feminine layout. Waiter said it was supposed to be inspires by a tomato falling on the summer soil. Tomato was juicy, appropriately seasoned and went well with the rich guacamole-lime filling. It might take some second thought to try out the 'soil' (made up of squid ink, I was told) but it went well with the tomato with a peppery touch. The flowers for garnishing were edible as well.
2. Main course: chicken fillet with 'potato lasagna' (sorry I forgot what exactly it was called), chicken fillet was cooked to the just-right degree with crispy skin but guess you can't have a very remarkable chicken fillet anyway. The cheesy potato lasagna was a pleasant surprise in the other hand. If I were allowed to choose again I might opt for something more special instead.
3. Dessert: Chocolate souffle with raspberry ice cream, the soufflee did not resemble a genuine souffle and was more like a '心太软' instead… but just forget it, the dark chocolate flavor was indeed heavenly! Rich with a hit-your-soft-spot aftertaste. Raspberry ice cream: does the job, natural raspberry flavor, just that in my opinion maybe some lime-flavor sorbet would go better with the chocolate soufflee.
Environment was cozy and a nice place to enjoy a lazy afternoon with friends. Just one downside was that they were a tad pushy witb the champagne/ wine/ juice add-on (costs $200 per head for that) and if you don't opt for the drinks, they do charge you for bottle water, pretty much like other high-end places.
