Came to the restaurant before rush hour and found there are a few parties already. Salt baked chicken: yummy and very juicy. The seasoning is on the subtle side but you can always add the ginger oil to enhance the dish. Portion is very small considering the price (HKD238 for half).
Kailan with salted fish: homey and well executed. Vegetables is cooked al-dente and the sauce is not overpowering.
Sweet and sour pork: not sure if the quality is impacted by the african swine flu but what i had was horrible. Meat is very dry and tough. Sauce is as thick as molasses without any flavours. Very disappointed as many reviewers mentioned this dish as their best ever dish.
Overall, decent restaurant with hits and misses. Service is good and location is close to MTR. Expected a better food execution given its fame among HK chefs and the michelin recommendation but tonight they did not impressed.
