The Hainanese chicken rice was good - considering the price I thought the portion was decent. We were given the chicken breast, which tends to be a disappointment for people like me that enjoys the drumstick. For dinner, I know there is an option for the drumstick if you pay an extra $8. In terms of flavour - it is what it is - nothing too special. It’s pretty much what you would expect to get at any restaurant that sold Hainanese chicken.
The noodle soup was tasty - I could really taste the fish in the broth. You can choose the protein for the dish and I decided on chicken. The soup comes with mushroom and other vegetables. I enjoyed this dish because there wasn’t any MSG. It was based on natural flavours from the ingredients.
Service and environment was average. You have to tick your own orders and probably need to share a table with other people. It’s not the kind of place where you would carry high expectations as you walk in - so I never leave feeling disappointed.
