Reserved a table for 2 at 8pm through Quandoo. We arrived and the place was half empty. We were seated at a table which was too close to the next table, and we could basically hear every word of the next table's conversation. This was annoying to us and also made the next table's guests uneasy.We therefore asked to be seated at another table as the restaurant wasn't full at that time. We therefore asked to be seated at another table as the restaurant wasn't full at that time. They then moved us to a corner table just next to the entrance. The space was fine, but the problem is, when the two tables next to us were filled, there was no way for the waiter to serve us but to pass the food from behind the entrance fence. We literally had to take the food from the waiter's hands and put them on the table on our own.
Well, given the limited space, we were ok serving ourselves. So when the 11" smoked salmon pizza arrived, we cleared our plates to make space for it. We had no idea why the waiter was smart enough to bend over from the fence, rearrange our already set-aside plates, and ended up throwing the pizza across the table, spilling the soft-boiled egg all over the table.
And when that happened, the guy just dashed. I mean, you could have apologized. My friend cleaned off the mess with tissue and another waitress saw that and asked what happened, she then brought us another egg served in a bowl. But that was supposed to be a topping for the pizza, isn't it?
Not to mention the pizza was lukewarm with soft dough. The dinner ended with a very disappointing dessert pizza with cinnamon apple, vanilla ice cream, toffee and hazelnuts. We were expecting rich flavours but everything just blended into one sweet dough.
It was so overcharged and the service was amateur in the most unblievable way. We definitely won't set foot in the place ever again.
