Bookmarked for soooo long and finally after years, I decided to give it ago seeing their speciality, hojicha pistachio cake.Visually, pretty appetising and appealing. Covering with loaded pistachio nibs while cake itself was in light brown colour. Look fluffy with its promising height. Trying without heating up, pistachio nibs gave so much crunch from this fluffy cake. Personally prefer to get those with crunchy toppings otherwise feeling a bit bland with a boring texture. Decided to warm it up with microwave as recommended written on the cake box. Hojicha flavour indeed tasted stronger but still on a mild side. Very moist and light. Not on a sweet side and not much egg flavour like some other Japanese cakes tasted. Pairing with the pistachio nibs, it was a very light dessert. Not bad.
