The waiter in glasses is nice. He always carries a smile to patrons (and even to potential patrons). Nonetheless, the quality of food is poor. It is the first time that I visited this restaurant. It is the first time that I visited this restaurant. Indeed, it will be the last time. In gist, I had the following experience :
1. My cup of latte is cold. It is supposed to be hot. The barista should be retrained ;
2. All the items in the so-called full English breakfast are not up to the requisite standard - the toast is as hard as stone ; the bacon is too salty ; the sausages are too small ; the sunny side-up eggs are cold ; the spinach should not have been included in the breakfast ; the beans are not delicious ; the grilled tomato is not hot enough ;
3. The egg Benedict ordered by my wife is not delicious at all ;
4. My wife and I had to wait for at least 15 minutes before the full English breakfast set and the egg Benedict landed on our table ; and
5. The restaurant was not full at the material time. Yet, the waiter arranged another 4 patrons sitting next to our table, making this already poor dining experience poorer. He could have arranged those 4 patrons to be seated farther away from me and my wife.
HK$240 was spent for this poor dining experience. Indeed, it is the first time and will be the last time of visiting this restaurant. Had I known in advance that the quality of food was so poor, I would have donated HK$240 to charity instead.
By the way, the restaurant is clean, but the quality of food and the efficiency are low.
