This place is horrible, bad enough that I created an account on OpenRice just to criticize this joke of a restaurant. The quality and quantity of food my girlfriend and I got was no where near what should be reasonably expected by the amount we paid (and it's only about 200 per person so the expectations aren't exactly high).For starters we decided to get nachos, no joke, it was just the original Doritos (Nacho Cheese Flavor) with a dash of sour cream, a bit of salsa and a teensy eensy eety bitt

I don't think these guys know what nachos look like. They didn't even bother to hide the fact that they were Doritos and they only gave us a small bag's worth, the smallest ones you would give to your 6 year old for a snack. Seriously, worst nachos I've ever had.
For our main course we ordered some European curry dish and the signature Taco Rice dish. The European Curry was a joke, on par with the nachos. The curry wasn't even any good, there was nothing special about it, European Curry my butt; what's the difference between this one and the Japanese Bee Curry place across the street? This isn't a rhetorical question, the Japanese Bee Curry place is 10x better. There were 3 pieces of meat in the curry, I could get more meat from "Dai Ga Lok". Actually, "Dai Ga Lok" would probably give me a better deal, the dish was basically 50% rice, 10% meat, 30% curry and assorted vegetables and 10% joke. The Taco Rice wasn't bad, it went with the whole Mexican theme (where apparently 90% of their diet is carbohydrates), it was just a thin layer of meat + beans on top of more rice and some vegetables sprinkled nicely around the sides. That's their famous dish, have you guys been to Taco Bell? Think a quarter of the ingredients in a taco smothered over rice.
I understand that the rent in Hysan Place is probably ridiculously high and they have to skimp on ingredients, but there are a ton of restaurants in similar conditions serving up amazing food. Seriously, don't go to this place.
On a side note my girlfriend said: "This place is so bad, I wish it'd close down soon". My girlfriend is the nicest person I've ever met and even she wishes ill on this restaurant. That's how bad this place is.
P.S.: Those Doritos only cost $6 for the amount we got. Seriously, worst nachos in Hong Kong; given the chance a Dai Pai Dong on the street can do better.
