This Chinese restaurant holds great significance for me, dating back 20 to 30 years when it gained fame due to the influx of Japanese tourists visiting Hong Kong. It's renowned for its signature dish, the cheese baked lobster noodles. Having been a long-standing establishment in the neighborhood, it recently relocated to this new location. However, I must admit to feeling disappointed with the storefront and interior. Despite being a new restaurant, it appeared worn-out and lacked aesthetic appeal.
During a business lunch with three friends, we ordered a selection of traditional Chinese dim sum, including shrimp dumplings, shiu mai, and spring rolls. Unfortunately, everything seemed rather ordinary and lacked the anticipated flavors. It was a simple meal that served its purpose, but regrettably, it didn't leave a remarkable impression.
