For me to write here, it has to be either really good or really bad. Unfortunately it is the latter. Overall, the restaurant ambient was ok. The problem with the restaurant was the food. Everyone on the table were flabbergasted when the main course came out. Up until then, it was still fine. OK to decent mussels (cream and lobster bisque), salad and scallops. We ordered a couple of steaks to share and it was by far the worse steaks that I ever had (a sentiment shared by most at the table). The steaks looked horrible and tasted just as bad as it looked. One of my friends commented that the Cha Chan Teng does it much better than them. Next up was the Lobster Roll and I was never disappointed with Lobster Rolls. There is a first time for everything I guess. The best thing about the Lobster Roll is the french fries that comes with it as a side dish. The bread they used for the roll (not a bread roll but white sandwich bread) became soggy and the flavour of the dish simply didn't work.
Of course there came the ackward moment when the manager (i assume he was) asked us if everything was alright. We were quite direct and hoped he passed on the message to the kitchen. It is highly unlikely that we will return.
题外话/补充资料:
After relooking at the reviews, it seemed that most of them were done 2 years back. Didn't realised that they were around so long. Obviously, it used to be good.
