My family suddenly have the urge to eat Shanghai cuisine, and coincidentally my friends told me that there is a very authentic restaurant that opened not long ago. Smoked fish fillet in sweet soya sauce - It was fried till very crispy, and yet the meat was able to keep it very soft and was very sweet in taste.
Xioa Long Bao - It was one of the better i have tasted, as the skin was really soft in texture and yet did not break off easily. The soup inside was warm and tasty and the meat was soft and chewy too.
Spare ribs with secret sauce - It was marinated till very juicy and sweet, and was very soft and smooth.
Dan dan noodles in peanut sauce - It was practically filled with peanut sauce as the soup was thick in gravy and the peanut taste was strong. Noodles was soft and smooth, going well with the soup.
Sesame glutinous rice ball - It was really soft and smooth, and the sesame inside was still warm and sweet too, with strong black sesame taste.
