disclaimer: i've dined @ hi/low french places in NY and paris. +: buy one, get one main free for monday night dinner; decor-: servers unhelpful and seem like they want to be elsewhere; uninspiring foodatmosphere -- nice lighting and floorsservice -- unattentive and slow. table next to us had to ask repeatedly for their bread after waiting for 20 min. poor thing. what got me annoyed: i couldn't finish my plate, so i asked for a doggie bag as there are many people without food in this world.

food -- uninspiring
warm baguettes -- served with pate (did not taste authentic at all), so i asked for butter (it was salted...authentic french places serve unsalted butter.
starter -- onion soup -- flavorful cheese on top and not too salty.
main -- whole sole -- decent, but nothing to write home about
in sum: would not go back; i felt jipped even though my main dish was free.
