Rich and deep mushroom flavor. No overwhelming cream taste but also lacking bits of mushrooms. It was tepid when arrived so I asked them to reheat it and the flavor definitely intensified. Delicious combination with the warm and fluffy baguette slices as the bread soaked up all that soup 😋

Pan-fried Halibut with Cherry Tomato, Olive & Spinach (香煎比目魚配車厘子,橄欖及菠菜) $188
Halibut fillet is super big and thick, not to mention flaky, so soft and melts in your mouth with ease, meat itself is not too seasoned so you can taste freshness of the fish and pairs well with the savoury tomato stock and salty olives.
The skin is pan fried till crispy and thin, well seasoned and amazing with the mild soft meat. Beware that it does get soggy due to the tomato stock underneath so I suggest you eat it quick.
The tomatoes are cooked till sweet and juicy, paired with the hearty spinach and salty olives 👍
The tomato stock underneath is delicious but they don’t give a spoon for you to drink it and use it as a base. This does make the fish rather watery and soggy but it’s already very flaky. Some people may not like the watery broth underneath fish but I personally enjoy it 🥰
