Appetizer - daily nourishing soup (spinach and potato)

It might have been my fault for getting a soup but this was so boring and plain. The sesame oil garnish overpowered the whole soup as spinach is already a weak flavor. The portion also quite small.

Came with a side of spicy pickles which is so much better and tastes delicious.

Main course - Ginseng Chicken Soup +$30
This counts as 2 course so I had to order the 3 course lunch set even though I only get 2 dishes.

They said this can feed two people but honestly no. The chicken is tiny with a tablespoon of glutinous rice inside. Does not fully feed two people and should not count as two courses.

The ginseng flavor also very weak and the soup simply tastes like chicken soup.

Other ingredients included a lot of jujube (lovely and sweet), one chestnut and one stick of ginseng.

💬 Overall, this overhyped restaurant is so overpriced and the food is not even good. The portions is laughable for the price. The a la carte menu is even more insane. The service is only below par with servers that don’t understand or know the food they are serving and a full attitude. The only good thing is the presentation and food aesthetics. The plates and bowls used are really nice.

My dad is a vegetarian so I picked this restaurant to celebrate his bday 🎂
We tried out their 6-course CNY tasting menu $388

Amuse Bouche (Appetizer)
- my fav among the whole course ♥️ the seaweed is very crispy and they served it with a sweet alcoholic omija drink (五味子/오미자) which is good for blood circulation and beautifies skin 👍🏻 They served me a free glass when I asked for more 🥳

Teok Kuk, Korean Rice Cake Soup
- The traditional rice cake soup is cooked with beef bone broth but since this is a vegetarian restaurant so they replaced it with monkey head mushroom which is less greasy

Sweet & Spicy Mushroom
- This is my 2nd fav dish and also a popular choice among their menu 🍄If you are not a fans of spicy food, they do offer a sweet and sour version

- I do like their soup base which is similar with the rice cake soup and they cooked the glass noodle inside wit beetroot but could have add some more seasonings as it tasted a bit plain

For the bday "cake", we have chosen the traditional korean rice cake with chestnut $98 and to my surprise, it is quite different from the normal one as they have added grind red dates 🥰 but the portion is unexpectedly small given the price

My friend and I were craving for some Korean food, and this newly opened vegetarian restaurant — “Soil to Soul” — in K11 Musea just came in time for us to try, as well as satisfy our craving.K11 Musea is a maze, especially once you are above 5/F, you need to find a right lift to get you to 7/F, and then you need to spend some time to find the restaurant. Nevertheless, Soil to Soul has a nice environment decorated with pebbles, bamboos, and an indoor tiny waterfall which creates a nice river ASMR

My friend and I were craving for some Korean food, and this newly opened vegetarian restaurant — “Soil to Soul” — in K11 Musea just came in time for us to try, as well as satisfy our craving.

K11 Musea is a maze, especially once you are above 5/F, you need to find a right lift to get you to 7/F, and then you need to spend some time to find the restaurant. Nevertheless, Soil to Soul has a nice environment decorated with pebbles, bamboos, and an indoor tiny waterfall which creates a nice river ASMR.

We ordered the HKD$288 set, so that we got to try everything on the menu with main, mushroom and tofu. And it was a great choice.

Daily Revitalized Soup with Fresh Salad

The daily soup was a creamy, delicious pumpkin soup. The salad was really fresh. But what caught our attention was the yellow piece of turmeric “rice sushi”, very refreshing and delightful!

Steamed Zucchini with Stuffed Tofu & Mixed Veggie

I could never have imagined that a simple piece of tofu and zucchini can taste so wonderful with mixed veggies! The carrots added a bit of freshness and sweetness to the mix. Yum yum!

King Oyster Mushroom with Spicy Sauce

I always have a love and hate relationship with Korean spicy sauce, which tends to be on the really hot and spicy side. But this one is just right to the point which added fantastic flavour to the juicy and meaty mushroom.

Deep Fried Tofu with Black Bean Sauce

The deep fried tofu cubes were absolutely gorgeous! The crunchy skin was not too thick, wrapping silky tofu inside. The black bean sauce was amazing! Again, it gave flavour and a bit of hotness to the tofu, yet not overly spicy nor salty.

Korean Soft Tofu with Kimchi & Jang Ajji Salsa

This tofu dish was comparatively more on the refreshing side with the Jang Ajji salsa, which allowed you to enjoy the taste of soy milk and silky texture of the Korean Soft Tofu to the max.

This is no ordinary BiBimBap! Again, neither spicy nor salty, yet nicely and strongly flavored with fresh veggies like mushroom and the greens on top. We were recommended to eat it with the broth in case we found this tasted too strong. Adding the broth to the rice gave a “new dish” as yummy congee.

Korean Hot Kimchi Noodle Soup

There was nothing we didn’t like about this noodle soup, the seaweed, noodles, mushroom and veggies, everything was so fresh and enjoyable really! Go try it yourself!

Korean Delighted Petit Four with Herbal Tea

The herbal tea was a beetroot tea, which tasted quite funny, yet went well with the desserts. The tiny piece of nut cake (right) and pear jelly (left) marked a perfect end to an unexpectedly filling, delicious and healthy lunch. Would definitely love to come back again when there is a new menu.
