Let me start by saying this - I have never been to Burma or had Burmese food before. But based on my previous experiences with other South East Asian cuisines, and after factoring in the taste and portion of the dishes, I would say that overall I found the food overpriced and slightly underwhelming. Appetisers:
Samusas ($98 for 2)

I think these are Burmese style samosas? They taste pretty similar to Indian samosas. But they were quite thin and not chonky at all. Thin in both skin and filling. Reminded me of the kind of samosas you can get at a party/buffet.

Laphet Thoke (Tea Leaf Salad, $148)

Salad was decent portion, taste was OK but nothing spectacular in my opinion. Felt like it could've used more spices or sauces because overall it tasted a bit bland, but then again, as I said, I don't know enough about Burmese food to comment!

Mains: (Noodles & Large Plates)
Mohinga (According to their menu, this is their national dish, $168)

Flavour profile reminds me of laksa noodles. The soup had a nice blend of flavours and spices, but I felt like it was missing something. Maybe it could've been more spicy? I don't know. An okay tasting dish, just no wow-factor.

This was absolutely delicious, my favourite dish of the evening. However, the portion feels barely enough for one person. And while this was very tasty, it was also very expensive at $348! I feel like I could've eaten something similar for half the price at one of the many Indian/Middle-Eastern restaurants we have in Hong Kong. The menu says that the beef used is Australian Wagyu beef cheek, which probably explains the cost....

Desserts: (The waitress recommended that sharing one between two would suffice, but we wanted to try more so we ordered two desserts. I'm glad we did, because the portions were again quite small...)

Burmese Tea Ice-Cream ($118)

Burmese Tea Ice Cream

Size was a standard single scoop of ice cream. (one person can easily finish it). I liked the banana crumble on the side, it added a nice texture to the dessert, but the burmese tea flavour was rather subtle. It's there, but you really have to look for it (or in this case, taste for it).

Thar Gu ($88)

Of the two desserts, we preferred this one. We liked the balance between the creaminess of the custard and the freshness and chewiness of the sago. A sweet and refreshing dessert to finish off the meal.

Cocktails:

We also ordered two cocktails: 3PM in Rangoon ($128, 4/5 Boozy Level) and Sugarcane Sour ($118, 1.5 Boozy Level). The drinks were tasty, but their alcohol portions are similar to their food portions - which is not a lot

I guess while that was too be expected for the Sugarcane Sour due to its low boozy level, I found 3PM in Rangoon to be quite weak as well.

The bill came to around $1300 for two persons including two cocktails (or $650 per person). While not outrageously expensive, the portions were definitely on the smaller side - I felt like we left without really having a proper dinner. Just doesn't feel quite right for the price we paid. I must say though, the service was fantastic throughout. Maybe worth a try once - but only at lunchtime if they have lunch sets? Hard to recommend paying the a la carte prices for dinner.

我有兩個幾好嘅朋友係緬甸人😁我就覺得點都要試吓緬甸菜於是搵到香港唯一一間緬甸菜餐廳希望可以試吓正宗的緬甸菜我本人未去過緬甸，所以唔知道正宗係咩味道，但起碼想感受下，知道大概嘅風味，已經好滿足星期六日佢有brunch menu 有12道菜 $700/2每道細細份，啱晒我想感受下各種緬甸菜嘅願望第一道餸係一個茶葉沙律叫 Lahpet Thoke 佢有啲脆花生椰菜蕃茄同茶葉？不過其實食唔到茶味 🤣 nuts酸酸脆脆既，d菜n番茄新鮮口感同味道都一流呢度開胃餸係我最鍾意其中一道菜跟住就係三選二的我揀咗一個羊肉咖哩角&叫Paratha嘅東西個羊肉咖喱角冇羊肉味係咖喱同薯仔味個皮炸得好新鮮脆 d綠色甜甜地嘅類似薄荷醬幾好食另外嗰個類似薄餅夾住d豆甜甜地我最鍾意呢個紅色嗰醬係甜辣既呢個同沙律就係我最鍾意的跟住係mohinga 麵如果要我好膚淺咁形容 🙊 我覺得似椰汁咖喱湯米粉味道係特別不過沒有好印象深刻都係東南亞風味嘅感覺 d米粉有d碎面頭有d類似炸粉既東西都冇乜特別係吸d湯味道🙃🙃跟住就係一口氣上各種咖喱加米飯仲有個魚有個清淡既雞湯同埋炸蒜頭，炸蝦

跟住係mohinga 麵
如果要我好膚淺咁形容 🙊 我覺得似椰汁咖喱湯米粉味道係特別不過沒有好印象深刻都係東南亞風味嘅感覺
d米粉有d碎面頭有d類似炸粉既東西都冇乜特別係吸d湯味道🙃🙃

跟住就係一口氣上各種咖喱加米飯仲有個魚
有個清淡既雞湯同埋炸蒜頭，炸蝦仔嘅東西
我個人就覺得啲咖喱係幾好食但係唔算好特別😆 魚唔算好特別，都係酸酸嘅味道咁

尤其薯仔蛋咖喱我鍾意d薯仔煮林d
但佢煮得比較硬 😭

我揀咗牛咖喱佢仲可以揀雞
不過個牛都幾好食係slow cook 所以好淋同入味 😆😆
另外係豬肉咖喱豬肉都好淋
但亦係冇乜特別

PS 米飯豬肉咖喱薯仔蛋咖喱都可以任添
不過我哋兩個人都係添咗少少飯就冇添超飽
個炸蒜頭蝦米配咖喱同飯好襯幾好
飽到想死
最後有個甜品係香蕉奶茶雪糕焦糖脆脆
d香蕉唔係一般超市d香蕉
似係啲東南亞比較硬嘅香蕉加d吉士味總括而言味道唔錯 😻😋

我個人都會推薦一啲鍾意嘗試新菜式嘅人試呢間餐廳 😋😋😋
不過，真係好特別或者好明顯感受到唔同風味嘅，我覺得係兩個前菜：茶葉沙律同埋豆薄餅 😻😻😻

12:00到餐廳冇人
侍應服務好好，好有親切咁，有添水，抹枱等等 😊😊☺️
又會問吓你有冇試過緬甸菜吹下水咁
我不過1點後就好多人，特別係外國人，唔戴口罩周圍走來走去又超嘈 😰🥶🥶
都建議各位非繁忙時間例如12pm黎
你就更加感受到慢慢，平靜咁食既開心感覺 ☺️
我嘅緬甸朋友都好親切好好人響呢間餐廳都感受到同樣嘅氣氛
