一家人一齊慶祝爸爸生日飯,雖然地點有少少難搵,不過服務一流,食物就更加,值得推薦,最欣賞個炸子雞,係點🍋汁,清新又唔油,甜品好食到不得了,不過係條魚蒸老咗少少

lee款其實係芭菲香蕉、焦糖軟心香蕉、香蕉班戟嘅組合。首先嗰雲尼拿雪糕唔夠挺身,以至於插喺上面嘅長形糖漿拉花側臥一邊,賣相已經扣分;焦糖軟心香蕉不過不失;芭菲香蕉嗰味道一般;香蕉班戟最伏,d皮好厚,口感好散的粉皮,差在冇吐出來。實在大失所望。

本來比menu上面嘅砂煲香橙布甸吸引咗,有好大嗰ball ball,影相呃like都多d吖,但侍應表示冇做lee款,唯有改茉莉花脆糖布甸。一來到,見到層脆糖咁唔均勻,未食已經唔滿意
佢有原味同茉莉花味。先講原味,custard好「潔」身,又唔滑,甜度適中,冇乜蛋香。至於茉莉花味,嗰顏色實在不敢恭維,有d似嘔吐物,茶味頗淡。


整體來講,室內設計還不錯,餐具都印有jasmine;今次的服務體驗不過不失;食物方面,中餐廳都係食中式食物會穩陣d,至於甜品,都係去返甜品專營店食會好d。

又到happy friday,此處為本人其中最喜歡中菜館,以中等價錢,享受高级環境~绣花厚枱布,精緻餐俱,我喜歡中國花鳥畫伴食,增加視覺效覺。有些菜式跟翠園差不多,選砂鍋銀絲子母蟹㷛$168,很久沒有食蟹,一般餐廳酒樓以兩計,閒閒地二三百元,出名甚至六七百,以此價食到蟹,更要叫,心想多數粉絲多蟹肉;估你唔到,唔單只蟹絲,還有真係有少少粗身蟹肉,勁多蟹肉(懷疑廚師重手咗),好鮮味,配金菇香蟹子,好香又爽,lam lam 脷,yumi yumi,蘭度銀杏生魚卷,銀杏我最喜歡,有嚼勁,在翠園食過2-3次,今次認真慢嚼,發現生魚卷裏有塊火腿-咸香,好似金華火腿,又幾特别,蘭度又爽又甜又翠綠,賣相very nice.黑醋蜜桃脆豬柳,聽個名都開胃,黑醋甜香我致like(在家,煎魚都要點醋),如果黑些更好,豬柳外脆內嫩,有嘲頭還有,最重要一碗熱辣辣香噴噴的白飯,為一頓佳餚畫龍點晴。還記得幾年前在ifc~波士廳叫碗白飯,是等15~20 分之後,用瓦砵上桌,散,差,咁多年還幾得!

The food are decently cooked, taste was usual but authentic.Steamed shrimp and vegetable dumplings with translucent "skin". Shrimp was fresh and vegetables taste had a good balance.Steamed beef meatballs, taste and outlook were to standard.Steamed siu mai, size was generous and the taste as usual.Crispy egg tarts had no surprise. Service was attentive.

自動上枱,青瓜算爽口,整體不太鹹不苦澀,可惜味道有點淡,幸好算耐泡外皮夠鬆化,饀料份量多,且確實食到檸檬味,但可惜唔夠熱外皮都算鬆化,饀料份量多,但食唔到有鮑魚粒,亦同叉燒酥一樣唔夠熱,上枱時只是和暖上枱時熱辣辣,個包很軟熟,而味道OK上枱時熱辣辣,餃子皮很薄,蝦肉夠爽,菜苗亦新鮮,同埋唔會咬落一口油,唔錯唔夠熱,只是和暖。但不會很死甜,馬蹄都算爽口上枱時和暖,每條蝦筒內均有一條芒果條被包著,芒果肉唔酸,而蝦肉亦彈牙用茶盞盛載,因此份量唔會很多。上枱時已唔夠熱,味道亦唔夠濃,勝在不太稀用茶盞盛載,因此份量唔會很多。上枱時亦唔夠熱,但薑味濃郁,湯丸饀是芝麻,湯丸皮很軟滑,芝麻味亦算濃及滑溜

The place was bustling but staff was still quite attentive to the needs of the clientele, which was a feat considering the staff ratio.The food was the reason for our repeated visits to this restaurant under Maxim's Group. The food was the reason for our repeated visits to this restaurant under Maxim's Group. The beef cheek was well marinated and very tender. Our all-time favourite was the tiger prawns steamed atop glutinous rice with crab paste which was as enticing as the first time we tasted it; the soft glutinous rice was warming to the stomach (and yes it was fatty, oily, rich and guilt-inducing). The stir fry vegetable and bamboo shoots were not bad, but pomelo peel is not a dish one could easily prepare at home so it was worth a try - this was braised long and quite soft. The steamed egg custard with prawns was very smooth - one could taste the fragrance of the Chinese huadiao wine used in seasoning. The dessert, like most Chinese restaurants, was the weakest link. Since Chinese pancakes were out of stock, we ordered breaded scoops of ice cream and custard, which was just average as the breaded coat was too thick and too much sugar was added to the custard.
With the discount from credit cards, this was a great bargain at $170 per head.

新年又點少得以飲茶吹水宜個環節呢?!一行10人同d E媽姑姐三姑六婆飲茶,有親戚為左有Face提議去中環怡翠軒飲茶...環境唔算寬闊,仲好嘈添!隔離枱講咩都可以聽到!生煎包包厚唔多,而且包身很乾!要一啖水一啖包咁食!!炒飯有大蝦,尚算ok,大蝦爽口。但炒飯唔夠鍋氣,欠缺左炒飯既靈魂&精髓!

話說今日有個位同事就嚟 last day 所以特意去樓下飲個靚茶 話晒人哋都係栗絲,梗係要食返餐好 叫咗個鮑魚仔蛋撻 好彩我睇睇先咬落去,一大個鐵兜 ,好應該叫做 鮑魚仔鐵撻 好明顯啲員工做嘢超級唔小心,一不小心真係咬崩牙都有份 朕一心諗住個芋角可以好好味,點知得個樣 又鹹,得個脆字.. 裏頭一啲水份都無超唔掂,而且隻蝦硬梆梆,更加唔掂 最後個鑊仔薄撐真係不知所謂 又甜又要有個煎pan,令人好難理解 冇 passion 之作最後諗住話影幅相叫部長幫幫手 點知佢竟然刻着面話好忙唔得閑影  (literally)最後佢真係冇幫我地影,我哋真係冇得影相  估唔到佢可以咁無人情味連我哋同事last day都唔幫我地影相 - 我哋友誼就係咁被忘記了.   失望. 文ey for valueness: -9999999/10

My friend and I tried to grab a quick dinner before our movie date, and decided to encore at this Chinese restaurant with fabulous food. Slightly disappointed to learn that credit card discounts weren't accepted 2 weeks before winter solstice. We found the preserved snacks appetizing and the dainty floral pattern still quite pleasing at a second visit, but the main attraction lay in the food. My friend and I tried to grab a quick dinner before our movie date, and decided to encore at this Chinese restaurant with fabulous food. Slightly disappointed to learn that credit card discounts weren't accepted 2 weeks before winter solstice. 
We found the preserved snacks appetizing and the dainty floral pattern still quite pleasing at a second visit, but the main attraction lay in the food. The sliced marinated beef was rich and tender and the portions were larger than expected. The vegetarian dish appeared common but was of exceptional quality, the beancurd folds were soft and the stock sauce was well matched. The fried rice was worthy of praise; it was moist and not salty or greasy - one could savour the individual rice grains in a mouthful. The final surprise of the meal was garlic tiger prawns with glutinous rice mixed with shrimp and crab cream, the fragrance from the fats and the glutinous rice was salivating and the moisture of the rice was well preserved with the wooden steam rack. 
At less than $300 per head, I would consider this a bargain even without credit card discounts.

Chose to dine at this Chinese restaurant with laudable cuisine with a friend who returned from overseas and yearned for decent Chinese food.  The food, as past visits confirmed, did not disappoint. The food, as past visits confirmed, did not disappoint. The meat buns were tender and warm. The mixed vegetables in soup was the most mundane of all dishes but still the very soft taro stood witness to the time put into its preparation. The remarkable cod in sweet and sour sauce on rice crackers won uniform accolade - the cod was rich and was not overshadowed by the sauce, the crispy rice cracker was an innovative match. The salted fish and pork was most traditional and white rice to go with it was a must; the pork was well marinated and it was getting harder to find salted or preserved fish of such quality nowadays. The roast sesame chicken was slightly tough - perhaps parts other than the breast would be better - but the guilty crunchy skin dotted with sesame was sinfully tasty. The glutinous rice with shrimp fat streaming through it remained amazing, the richness and the aroma of the shrimps brought out by steaming these against glutinous rice was overpowering. My dining companions opted for Chinese desserts and the almond tea was creamy with shreds of egg white inside. The double milk custard was also good. 
Now the food was magnificent, and at a price of $184 per head this should have been wonderful value for money. Just bear in mind that there was practically no service, and the little provided was abhorrent to say the least. The waitress absentmindedly handed us the menus without ensuring we had a firm hold, which resulted in the menus crashing onto bowls and plates. When we asked for the bills, they took ten minutes to arrive and staff needed reminders to confirm the headcount (for the additional charges like "tea and mustard"). So if you could withstand the service in return for the food, this would be a great choice.

The elegant floral design and furnishings plus the speedy food delivery won our praise; though some aged diners dislike dishes "being piled up all at once" on the table - one could relay special requests to the staff in that case, of course. The alcohol-based (Hua Diao) egg custard with prawn ball was very smooth to the palate and the prawn was huge yet convincingly genuine (compared to some places serving humongous prawn balls which appeared artificial and man-made). The vegetarian dish with well boiled pumpkin (golden with autumn sweetness) and lightly stir fried vegetables and mushrooms was exemplary - the ingredients might appear mundane, yet the taste and flavour was well preserved and one could savour the greens of the season. The fish maw noodles was fair, the noodles were al dente and not dry and the amount of fish maw was satisfactory (Chinese patrons somehow would feel cheated if the portion of expensive foodstuff was too small). The roast cod was rich with just the right proportion of fat to render the dish excellent, and the matching crispy rice crackers added to its complexity. 
The food and the good value-for-money (with credit card discount) with acceptable service together helped this place make it to our "encore list". At $240 per capita (credit card 25% off) it is hard to beat.
