Visited this Chinese resto in East Pavilion with my family to have lunch with my cousin and aunt after my cousin's piano performance. .We ordered the following dishes to share:-Deep-fried Squid Tentacles The squid was served piping hot with a crunchy exterior. The chewiness was on point, and it was not greasy at all. -Steamed Chicken Feet in XO Sauce The chicken feet were well-marinated and had a soft texture, making them easy to bite into. -Rice Roll with Beef Not particularly memorable. -Creamy Custard BunThe bun looked cute and was filled with custard, but its interior was not very lava-like. -Crispy Rice Roll with Salted Egg Yolk & Shrimp Its interior was crispy with a soft exterior skin. The shrimp added a nice texture to the rice roll. -Cantonese Sponge Cake The cake was soft, yet slightly dry. -Steamed Shrimp Dumpling The shrimp was meaty and fresh, with thin skin that matched with the mouthful shrimp well. -Steamed Pork Dumpling with Soup The dumpling was filled with hot soup, making it juicy. The soup was not too oily. -Steamed Minced Beef Ball The beef ball was sizeable. Dipping it with the Worcestershire sauce enhanced its savoury. -Steamed Shrimp & Pork Dumpling Not particularly memorable. .The resto's seating was a bit crowded, and the prices were generally on the higher side. 繼續閱讀

Chef Ecy’s Dining Experience:🥰 Food | Ambience | Price | Easy Access | Restroom Cleanliness | Wheelchair | Cake Cutting Fee🙂 Corkage Fee | Easy Parking | Service😠 Pet FriendlyThis is a Chinese restaurant located in Quarry Bay with Chinese style decoration. Ambience is good. They provide dim sum for morning tea and lunch as well. Dim sum has lots of variety and the chinese tea is very good. Dim sum is served hot & fresh. The portion is not small too. It‘s a cozy place for a family meal to get together. The restaurant is easy to access by taking tram, bus, minibus or MTR. Exit B in Tai Koo Station and take a 5-min walk along King’s Road. Unfortunately I don‘t see any car park around but there are some meter parking at the far back but need to walk a distance to the restaurant. Wheelchair cannot access directly cos there is an elevator or stairway from street level to one floor down. But there is a way to go through from the other end where the wet market is and get through from there directly to the restaurant at the other end. Cake cutting fee is waived but there is a little corkage charge for HK$50 a bottle. I have experienced the dinner as well. Service is so so, waiters are not that proactive and they are serving in a reactive mode. Not all the dishes are good. I would say the roast goose is not hot enough and the meat is not tender. The maggie sauce shrimps do not taste any maggie sauce flavor and the shrimps are not that fresh, I think they are frozen shrimps. Some dishes are quite good eg the steamed fish, razor clams rice noodles and the fried sticky rice are tasty with lots of ingredients. Razor clams are fresh & sweet and the sauce is just right and yummy. Fish is fresh and tender. Their signature dessert is the longevity peach buns. They are steamed and served very hot with duck egg yolk in the center surrounded by lotus seed paste inside the buns. It’s so big and need to be shared. They have the frozen ones wrapped in a gift box to take away too… It‘s nice to use as gifts to elderlies at birthday. Restroom is outside in the plaza. It’s clean & big. Price is reasonable. 繼續閱讀

大閘蟹季節開始~頭炮當然要去2皇1后大閘蟹始祖嘆抵食蟹宴!❣️呢個價錢除左大閘蟹外,仲有成7道菜式,真係大滿足~❣️蟹嘅size都唔錯,蟹公有 5.5 兩,母蟹3.5 兩左右▪️$458/位皇者大閘蟹餐▪️ ✨煙鴨胸併青瓜(各2件)- 開胃小菜,鴨胸大大片,鹹度適中🦀蟹粉小龍包- 滿滿蟹粉香,聽講每2個小籠包就要用一隻蟹!🔹花膠雞絲羮- 好多花膠,味道濃香🦀🦀🦀清蒸大閘蟹(2皇1后)- 都幾大隻,江蘇大閘蟹水準唔錯。個人好鍾意蟹乸,爆曬膏,金黃色流黃,而且肉質都好甜好滋味!- 蟹公都有白膏,而且肉比較多! 值得一提係,蟹醋都好特別,酸酸甜甜更能帶出蟹肉鮮香~✨黑松露炒蝦球- 大大隻蝦球彈口,仲有好多炒香荷蘭豆✨鮮鳳梨黑豚肉- 分量十足,黑豚肉外皮薄脆,酸酸地唔會太膩✨鮮茄菌皇浸時蔬✨薑茶湯圓- 好貼心,最鍾意食湯圓~ 🦀PS 必食招牌菜- 蟹粉蒜蓉包- 超吸引,係一碟鮮拆蟹肉、蟹粉配脆蒜蓉包,啖啖蟹黃香,大滿足!呢到真係大閘蟹迷必到,又唔使花功夫食到蟹~! 繼續閱讀

雖然好唔得閑食嘢,朋友大讚東小館大閘蟹,所以真係唔食唔得。去到東小館,伙記服務至上,揾咗個靚位比我,立即叫個大閘蟹二人餐,首先到嘅係蟹粉小籠包,小籠包熱辣辣皮薄蟹粉肉靚 。主角出場係两隻蟹公,外觀已靚,食落蟹肉够晒份量,而蟹后更係有好多靚膏,可以講好正,確實係上等貨。食完蟹,最貼心就係伙記立即送上薑茶,服務冇得頂。随後嘅小菜可以講精美,菠萝咕噜肉皮脆肉嫩,可算最近幾年所食嘅第一好。蟹粉蝦球嘅蟹膏嫩滑加上蝦球爽脆,真係無可挑剔,加上上湯時蔬,幫助一吓消化,最後嘅薑茶湯圓,真係完全满足。整體呢個餐就十分抵食,朋友大讚完全冇錯,最後一句,好正值得一讚。 繼續閱讀

又到了享用肥美大閘蟹的時候, 今天去東小館,叫左大閘蟹二人餐,蟹粉蝦仁用蟹母的蟹卵,呈橙紅色,即俗稱的紅膏;加上蟹公的精子煮熟後呈乳白色,俗稱白膏。將两膏加在一起用油炒香,乃無上妙品,至今思久犹有餘香,餘香撲鼻,吃到嘴裏黏糊糊的,糯滋滋的,真捨不得一下子嚥到喉嚨裏去。估吾到今年的蟹雖然遲左上市, 但质量更勝去年。最貼心是單尾薑茶是由生薑、紅 糖和紫蘇葉一起煎煮的飲料,可 以驅寒暖胃,促進腸胃消化,值得一讚。 繼續閱讀
