Boyfriend and I were in the Haven Street area to order take away before heading home for dinner. While there, we found a sign pointing to a new shop. Curious, we followed the sign and found 韓二妹. A small take away shop that did have a few seats if you wish to dine in.The outside had this really beautiful mural. It was then that I noticed there were so many drawings and items. Love this tissue holder!
Menu is in Chinese and some English. There is no 10% service charge. They also offer daily special items as well. All sets come with a box drink. Their focus seemed to be Korean food but they also offered sandwiches.
One of the daily special items was tteokbokk ($55). Boyfriend was interested so he ordered that to take with him. It was pretty spicy. The rice cakes were soft and chewy with lots of sauce. There was plenty of fishcakes and kimchi found throughout.
I ordered a sandwich of Italian bread with ham and cheese ($43). The bread was toasted so it was warm. The cheese was just melted. The ham was delicous. Not too salty as wel. There was a piece of fresh crispy lettuce.
Fairly inexpensive take away shop with a lot of Korean food options. The staff was friendly and almost neighbourly. Combine with the fact they love cats, I'd probably be back if I wanted take away Korean.
