老外朋友每年也來港,入住旺角區某酒店,知道他喜歡地道港式美食,除了帶他去吃茶餐廳,這天帶他去吃點心。點心專門店有很多,但我試過價錢實惠、出品不錯的,是這一間。還記得舊店是在同一條街,座位很狹窄,但看著侍應拿著一大棟冒著煙的點心從廚房走出來,心靈卻很治愈,真佩服前人怎麼可想出「點心」如此貼切的名字?新店裝修比舊店乾淨企理,裝飾加了懷舊老香港的信箱和地磚,環境氣氛不錯。先點些飲品,我點了鐵觀音,而我介紹了胎菊給他,反正他經常喝Camomile,兩種都是用茶包的,香氣撲鼻,比以前用茶膽開的茶好得多。晶瑩鮮蝦餃,一貫水準,必點!蝦餃皮不糊口,蝦肉爽彈有汁。蟹籽鮮蝦燒賣,豬肉肥瘦比例適中,口感殊佳,加了蝦,味道鮮美。金蒜香芋蒸排骨,略嫌排骨斬得大件,肉質不錯,芋頭粉糯。脆皮鮮蝦腸,應該是即叫即做,因為入口奇脆和夠熱,蝦肉新鮮,腸粉有米香。芋絲素春卷,包得巨大,不夠精緻,餡料有芋頭,木耳等,炸得夠脆。菠蘿生炒骨,知他喜愛甜甜酸酸之物,配煲仔蒸白飯,肉質好,咕嚕汁調得適度,配飯是一流。餐後甜品點了真係菠蘿包,餡料是吉士醬和菠蘿肉,也是這裏必吃的。環顧四週,座上有不少外籍人士,鄰座有韓國女士帶著兩個女兒,另一廂有四名外籍大漢,點滿了一大桌點心和飯,還有些菲律賓,印尼和歐美人士,看來外國人也很喜歡來這裏吃點心,回想去年老外朋友在美國招呼我,價錢貴又要硬性附加18%小費(因文化不同,以示尊重,他建議不要給較低的15%!),相比之下,這裏真是價廉物美!服務方面,不過不失,人手足夠,以致揮手也有人回應,以現時難請人的情況下有足夠員工,實屬難能可貴!

屈指一算,好久沒有和老媽子兩人行逛街吃飯了。碰巧,他們一家三口晚上有約,老媽子不用煮飯。下班後,咱倆逛街吃點心去。我們未夠六時入座,被安排坐在近窗口位置。餐廳的裝潢簡潔明亮,天花板懸掛著中式燈籠。適時,客人不多,小妹要了一杯林奇苑普洱,老媽子則要了一杯凍奶茶。點點心的菜單選擇挺多樣化的,熱門的選項都有用紅字特別標記。不消片刻,我們就點了滿桌的點心。脆皮鮮蝦腸蠻好吃的,外皮晶瑩剔透,內裏則多了一層炸得酥脆的米網紙和爽彈蝦肉,外皮Q軟而內裏香酥脆,口感層次豐富。柚子蝦多士,也是小妹頗為喜歡的一款點心。論外貌,稱之為“柚子蝦多卷”更為貼切也!炸得酥脆而不油膩的多士內,卷在鮮爽蝦肉,且夾雜著清香的柚子,著實不錯。晶瑩鮮蝦餃水準不賴,皮薄餡靚;蟹籽蟹肉小籠包也是碩大足料湯汁飽滿之作,只稍嫌蟹肉略顯不足也。色澤誘人,軟腍入味,入口即脫骨的醬皇蒸鳳爪,深得我們歡心,一籠吃罷,意猶未盡,再來一籠!山竹牛肉球,老媽子一人獨享。而小妹,則點來一客有潤肺清熱生津之功效的原隻雪梨燉雪梨。壓軸,招牌豬仔流沙包和遠年陳皮豆沙壽包各來一籠。前者起初不抱太大期望,誰知一試,卻有驚喜!流沙包外皮鬆軟,內裏的奶黃醬則爆漿且流沙。豆沙壽包是為八月之星的老媽子而點,香軟豆沙包子夾雜了陳皮,讓包子多了一份陳皮的獨有香味。

約咗啲舊同事出嚟聚一聚,因為人少少得幾個咁就簡簡單單食吓點心傾吓偈,揀咗嚟旺角嘅「點點心」,主因都喺貪方便地點就腳,佢哋對食無太多要求。餐廳裝修都算幾骨子,細細格嘅花地磚幾有以前懷舊茶居嘅感覺,牆上有啲彩繪加埋別緻嘅天花燈,令人感覺幾唔錯,此外,最緊要都喺夠乾淨企理。旺角即喺旺角,始終都遊客多,所以,點心紙都中英對照,晌用餐期間,唔知點解特別多韓國客,前前後後幾台都喺韓國人。點心紙有兩版,第一版就落晒各類點心,後面嗰版喺啲甜品及各款飲品,最鍾意喺佢每款點心都寫明個數量,人多嘅時候又好預數,仲有就喺好在唔收加一嘛!胎菊 $8、普洱 $8、凍奶茶 $22另一點要讚嘅就喺茶位呢個問題,你去酒樓還是點心專門店,都收硬你茶錢。不過呢度可以唔嗌茶,淨飲清水,而就算茗茶方面都好特別,第一就喺用上獨立茶包,同枱嘅人可以各自揀喜好嘅口味,仲有就喺標明嚟自「林奇苑茶行」,雖然我唔喺好識,但亦喺一種保證。試咗兩啖胎菊,非常之清香,唔飲茶都唔緊要,好似小弟咁整返杯凍奶茶爽吓,不知幾過癮。潮州粉果 $28出菜都幾快,好快就上咗籠粉果,一籠3隻,啱啱好一人一隻,啲粉果好大隻,裡面填滿晒餡,用料十足,味道唔錯,只喺外皮有少少削,影響咗咗啲口感。芋絲素春卷 $28春卷雖然喺點心中嘅例牌嘢,不過,呢一款春卷幾特別,裡面全喺芋頭絲,啲芋頭好香好粉,而炸得香脆不油膩,沾上少少喼汁,效果更好。脆皮鮮蝦腸 $40脆皮!究竟點脆皮法?我哋大家都好有興趣試,睇樣有少少似炸兩,其實都差唔多,裡面捲住喺炸過嘅鮮蝦卷,可以講喺炸兩加鮮蝦腸嘅混合版,食落口感幾唔錯,先軟後脆,啲蝦爽口又有鮮甜味,喺有啲驚喜。涼拌木耳手絲雞 $38天氣熱熱哋,食啲涼拌冷盤感覺就幾爽吓,呢一款木耳手撕雞份量都算喺咁,木耳有益又爽脆,啲手撕雞都好嫩滑,帶有少少花椒嘅麻,微微辣,食落幾醒神。蟹籽蟹肉小籠包 $34小籠包雖然包得唔算話好工整,但喺食落個口感唔錯,外皮夠薄唔黏牙,裡面嘅肉餡好鬆化,不過你話喺咪好多蟹肉,其實又啊算好食得出,但就好夠湯汁,亦比一般小籠包大隻。瑤柱糯米雞 $40都唔記得打開件糯米雞時影多幾張相,裡面有好多料,絕對喺交足課,而且,鍾意佢裡面餡料唔會有太多芡汁,搞到好漿咁,味道好好,啲糯米入口好煙韌。真係菠蘿包 $25一客3個,啱啱好夠我哋分,加上仲喺細細個,唔會食到太飽。裡面喺吉士餡加咗啲菠蘿粒,不過,啲菠蘿喺罐頭嘢。味道嚟講OK喎,幾得意,只喺嫌佢嚟到只有微微軟,面頭層「菠蘿皮」又唔脆,無期望新鮮出爐,但我覺得至少都要烘番夠熱。遠年陳皮豆沙壽包 $20雖然同枱無人生日,但都叫咗一客壽包做甜品,皆因「遠年陳皮」四個字。先講賣相,做得確喺好靚,包身軟熟,裡面嘅豆沙餡軟滑清甜,嗰一陣陣嘅陳皮香味確喺幾突出,唔錯唔錯!今餐食咗好多款點心,食到飽飽大家都好滿足,整體嚟講感覺質素唔錯,又無特別講明時限,等我哋可以嘆住茶,傾耐啲。

最近,有朋友推介一間位於旺角通菜街的點心店 <點點心> 抵食夾大件! 所以,我約了細堂妹一齊去食點心,然後,行吓西洋菜街!恰巧!店子門外搭了竹棚,基乎找不到!店內裝潢加入中式元素,晚上 8:00 已經 full 了!當中不乏中外遊客,可能是大街地舖,加上店方餐墊紙印上哪些年份榮獲其他媒體推介!或者有些食客是慕名而來呢!起初,見到網上有網友提到服務態度差,我以為是男店員,反而係全女班!我們尚未落單,原先坐在3人枱,突然有3個客走入嚟,我們被轉枱;女店員幫我們攞哂餐具轉枱及放番我們原有位置!餐牌嘢食抵食夾大件,上得快!胎菊 $8未嚐已傳來陣陣菊花清香,入口輕微清甜! 有清熱作用!晶瑩鮮蝦餃 $38皮薄餡豐,熱熱地又煙韌晶瑩的蝦餃皮,內裡主要是蝦肉餡,並沒有加入豬肉,真材實料!簡單而鮮美!蟹籽蟹肉小籠包 $34蟹籽蟹肉小籠包將近生竹牛肉那麼大粒,鮮味多肉汁, 比例上,豬肉比蟹肉多,所以,豬肉的味道完全蓋過蟹肉獨特的鹹鮮味! 脆皮鮮蝦腸 $40蝦網紋春卷以腸粉包住,香脆的春卷加入蝦肉,保持多汁鮮味!外軟內脆,內外兼備!口感似炸兩!川汁釀茄子 $34醬汁入口麻辣,釀茄子表面是彈牙的蝦膠,比起港式小食的煎釀三寶的釀茄子,店方有心思又不錯的配搭!砂鍋雲吞滑雞 $58以價錢來說,份量差不多嘞!滑雞是滑溜的雪藏雞,6粒雲吞除了豬肉之外,還混合清爽椰菜粒,可減低膩滯感!

I really craved dimsum after a long summer away from Hong Kong. However, the moment I stepped into dim dim sum, I was simply blown away by how many tourists there were. Literally packed with tourists around every single corner!!! They even had a legitimate English menu that I found amazing.I was a bit worried that the food quality wouldn’t be as good, since it could be a scam for tourists. However, I was actually quite impressed by their dimsum. Especially the one with the fish meat stuffed in green pepper! It was so flavourful and served very hot, meaning it was fresh out of the pan I would come back just to have this. No jokes!!We also got the usual siu mai, tasted as it should which is good. Their beancurd roll wrapped over meat was also another specialty. Yummy when paired with chilli.Last but not least, their shrimp spring roll was amazingly crispy!! I always love any type of spring rolls dipped in vinegar. The other thing I found to be quite funny is that they charge you by the cup of tea. Surprised that they don’t just serve you tea and charge you, is this how the restaurant is trying to be ethical and give customers more choice? Haha.
