茶餐廳有寫如無惠顧,茶水若干。貴為一間自稱高級法國餐廳,呢種營商手法確實難以理解,若果無叫drinks就話啫,結果…成枱都係飲品。

食物方面,則見人見智,個人認為同等價值但水準較優的,真係唔少。借用另一位食家所寫: “華而不實” ,貼切!

但,未完..

差不多吃完,準備叫甜品waitress走過來問”要唔要多杯?”,心諗, : (我似大笨象咩,要飲咁多水,不過人地禮貌問吓啫), waitress續 “你地頭先個drink 其實係買一送一, 咁你地要唔要呀?” …..嘩,唔係吓嘛,走先講!! 本來飲唔落,但點都要杯嘢來降一降火中高溫。

結果,每人起碼飲咗一公升水,跑馬拉松到唔洗飲咁多!

谷鬼氣,點解座落IFC都要用近乎行騙之手法去營商,與其自降身價去走歪路之行銷,何不著墨於鑽研提升食品質素? 所以,真的不吐不快!
(但其他分店冇呢個問題)

另,鄰枱叫了蝸牛,但當中一隻見殼但唔見咗肉,又召來waitress一問。Waitress回頭送回一隻,但另送一句:” 其實入便有架,不過你” 了” 唔到知嘛” 。唉,一係就唔好送回啦,講贏有獎咩, D肉未熟未唔出來囉。小氣, Mean!!

是次用了每人HKD 460 ,飲飽但不食醉。

生日,cova吃得有點多有點悶,轉場吃個agnesb都好。訂一個,350蚊,老實說這是5-star的價錢,真的不算便宜。amour,即tiramisu,presentation是絕對的滿分,可是味道卻叫人絕對的失望,味道過於淡,而且不夠滑,咖啡味不知走到那裡去。agnesb,這個品牌對於我,不過是一個french brand,它的shop我從不進,這種fashion不是我buy的那種,朱古力,也不對我的口味,味道總是奇奇怪怪,連最common最affordable的cakes&pastry,卻只著眼於packing,presentation,ribbons,從來都沒有concern過食物的質素,收得這個價位,只得如此味道,實在太可悲。這個蛋糕的失敗,我回頭,買了cova,那裡才是王道。*味道一欄,差一點就想打1分,最後忍了手給予同情分,但喊面少不了。

Tonight celebrate my friend's brithday! He really enjoy the night since we think the place, service and foods there are so great!Fish Soup This was lovely!! I'm a soup lover and this soup even better than the lobster soup i ever try! Gotta try this! Clam and Razor Clam linguine in white wine sauseThis was good. This was lovely!! I'm a soup lover and this soup even better than the lobster soup i ever try! Gotta try this!

Clam and Razor Clam linguine in white wine sause
This was good. Never think about that the Razor clam is so fit to the linguine, delicilous and perfect!

Service is good and the staffs there are so attentive to us!

The other day my boyfriend and i decided to go to ifc to watch Public Enemies. While waiting for the movie, we went up and randomly found this place. The other day my boyfriend and i decided to go to ifc to watch Public Enemies.

My boyfriend had a penne with mushrooms and duck breast, and i took something a la carte, macarons avec creme (ice-cream).
Something funny happened though: since i'm french, i kinda got myself comfortable into the whole french atmosphere, and i started speaking french to the waiter! He was cool with it though.
The penne my boyfriend ordered was delicious (i actually wanted to order that but he took it first, tough luck). It smelt great, and it tasted awesome.
Then my macaroons arrived: i never should've gotten them as they will never be as good as the ones in paris. The ice-cream was good though, it was very fresh!

So in conclusion, lovely atmosphere, marvelous decorations. The desserts were disappointing though, but what was i thinking of when i ordered it anyway?

Overall it cost us $350 (?), a little overpriced but it's for the view

i really didn't like how there was all this fat bit inside. affected the texture of the whole dish and made it really really filling. the dressing that was mixed in was also a bit overpowering....so u really can't taste the flavor or the meat itself.

A minty tea that i quite like, you can ask for honey which really enhances the tea.

It is also noteworthy that this Agnes b eating establishment has the best service out of all the other ones. because the one that was in wtc mall was ok and the one in festival walk was horrible beyond belief. But this one was good and professional.

工作有點不如意,就下來吃件pastry歇一歇。要strawberry tart,iced lemon tea,味道其實一如已往,沒什麼好再寫。這裡的pastry,比起當年一開售,似乎退步了一點,可能聲名愈大,水準愈見下降,這是很多餐廳都有的通病,撻底不夠crispy,有點腍,可能放在display case太久。但cozy的環境,是加分位! 舒服吃後,又再衝過工作堆中消耗青春。

First commentary, hope it's not too bad.I went to agnes b. LA LOGGIA with my parents because rumour has it that it's supposed to be "Good."When we called and made the booking Sunday afternoon, the staff was really friendly. So far so Good.Around 7:30pm we arrived and sat down, the ambiance was Good...until the waiter(s) started talking - 1) Mom asked for a pot of hot water before dad went to the washroom. As some of you might know, the washroom is outside of the restaurant (normal ifc washroom),

First commentary, hope it's not too bad.

I went to agnes b. LA LOGGIA with my parents because rumour has it that it's supposed to be "Good."

When we called and made the booking Sunday afternoon, the staff was really friendly. So far so Good.

Around 7:30pm we arrived and sat down, the ambiance was Good...until the waiter(s) started talking -

1) Mom asked for a pot of hot water before dad went to the washroom. As some of you might know, the washroom is outside of the restaurant (normal ifc washroom), so it takes some time to walk there. And dad comes back. The pot of hot water is still not coming. Mom complains to the waiter, waiter says it's coming. 3 minutes later, it comes.
APPROX TOTAL WAITING TIME for hot water: 10mins, EPIC fail.

2) While we are looking at the menu, the waiters did not bother to come and introduce signature dishes. FAIL.

3) Dad asked the waiter where the beef is from, the waiter said "angus."
[Actually Angus is a type of cattle (or beef you may say), mostly of course we assume that angus beef is from the U.S., but it doesn't have to be.]
So dad asked again, where the beef from. Of course the waiter, who thinks that he is extremely intelligent, says "angus, America" again, with his eyes widened. EPIC FAIL for service.

4) During the meal, the waiters did not even come over once (3x appetizer, 3x main dish) to ask how the food was. FAIL

5) My cup of hot water was empty, dad's cup was also empty, mom's cup was half empty/full. I showed the waiter my empty cup and asked for water, guess what they did?
UNBELIEVABLE. The waiter poured water for me, and left the pot of water on the table, leaving my dad's cup empty and my mom's cup half empty. EPIC EPIC FAIL

6) When I asked for the cheque right after they took away the main dishes, waiters did not ask if we wanted tea or dessert. FAIL

Conclusion?
The waiters are incompetent.

For this pricing, I expect waiters to be more well-groomed, instead of chatting amongst themselves. For sure they need more decent training. The food is already poor enough, the service is even more of a shut-down, how LA LOGGIA anticipates customers to return is as unfathomable.

Taking price into consideration, I don't recommended any dishes. All appetizers were tasteless (frog leg, spaghetti, cray fish soup). The pasta (one as appetizer, one as main dish, I don't remember names sadly) was hard. My lamb chops were OK but they were not worth the price. Everything in general is overpriced. Sure, there's beautiful scenic view. But what the heck, for 1400 I'd rather just use it to partially pay for a room in Four Seasons (and order room service).

那天我們去食tea。外邊露台都有位,但姐姐話那些位是self service的。如果我們只是飲咖啡的話,就可以坐露台,但我們食埋野就唔可以坐出邊。點了個下午茶,食物唔錯,賣相也不錯。我們2人要用埋旁邊那張2人台,才可以放洒野食,坐的舒服一點。服務有待改進,要叫服務員至會添水,收食完的碟等等。。。

五月廿七日(星期三)lemon tart,很香的lemon味道!有質感!特別推介拿破崙!好吃得......上面的酥皮很脆,而且富牛油味!中間夾著了custard,正如其他網友所說的.香蛋味!!!很creamy.........一流呀!!!

A very disappointed Sunday lunch.Ordered 2 set lunches:Cream of Brocoli Soup: Very ordinary, marginally failed in my standard. Not creamy.Fish of the day was a joke... Tasteless and I was speechless.The Lamb was a bit overcooked, though the taste is okay.We waited for like over 1/2 hour for the disappointing main dishes.We have no moods to order desserts. The best parts were the bread and the coffee.Seriously no next time, ruined our Sunday mood just like the weather.

我係napoleon既超級fans!食過paris既作品~一試愛上..誓要尋找最好食既拿破崙!好食既宗旨係:新鮮既酥皮唔會有水氣~要crispy鬆化脆口+蛋香奶油味既custard!而非cream+sponge cake!係hk,第一間試既係agnes b既~28蚊~雖然用左custard~但食落唔鬆脆既!custard又唔夠香~不過價錢同size算ok..因為第一次食既時候冇映相..今次再補映返~都係口痕要食...卡卡

好開心啊,過左生日咁耐友人都有準備蛋糕同我慶生。我之前都想試試佢既朱力。呵呵,今次個蛋糕上的朱力太細,試唔真。不過個七吋蛋糕真係幾大個喎。同埋係拿破崙式 raspberry cake,插 candles 同切都幾高難度,哈哈哈哈,幾得意。佢 jit custard 都好有 heart 咁真係逐忽 jit 既,幾好味。

不經不覺,與老公仔吃到第一千餐了

為了紀念這個里程碑,老公仔特地找來一間特別的餐廳慶祝慶祝,最後選了IFC LA LOGGIA 的la pain grille

LA LOGGIA於約半年前開幕,未開張前一直保持着神秘感
一萬五千呎的空中旗艦店,是一個嶄新的概念
LA LOGGIA化身成一個空中花園,是法國花園的裝潢,為勞碌的香港人提供一個休閒的地方
入面有有賣服飾的SPORT b.、VOYAGE、BIJOUX,賣花的fleuriste,旅遊概念店la Maison sur l’eau和朱古力專門店DÈLICES,當然少不了今天的主角la pain grille...入店了...

單是la pain grille已佔了LA LOGGIA超過四分一的地方
我們原以為餐廳不是很大,原來一共有92個座位!
是打通了數間房的,餐廳的裝潢走浪漫路線,很有氣派,一進店會經過一個小小的酒吧,服務員人數很多,而且很有禮貌
室外還有座位,可以看到維多利亞港,但因今天頗為大風,所以都沒有客人選擇外面的座位

服務員不久便送上了餐牌,還很細心的向我們講解餐牌裡的一些特別菜式.

我們看了一會,最後點了兩個set lunch, 我點的主菜是Fish of the day, 而老公仔則選了羊鞍

服務員首先送上法式麵包和鮮紅蘿蔔條
麵包外硬內軟,搽點牛油更能帶出麵包的香味
而紅蘿蔔條很爽脆,配上特配的醬料,很醒胃香口


前菜我倆都選了shrimp & potato millefeuille, severd in dill cream sauce
是法國菜的風格,很細心的將每塊蝦肉放在一塊一塊的薯片上
蝦肉很新鮮,很爽脆,配上忌廉醬,很可口
至於薯片有點像平時吃到的,不過較硬身和脆一點
我們很滿意前菜,期待著主菜的來臨

主菜方面,我點了我常吃的魚
今日廚師就選了香煎Snapper
Snapper因為是白肉魚,魚味會比較淡,所以廚師用了較多的醬料去煮
魚肉新鮮嫩滑,得到醬料的幫助,更將其魚鮮味帶出,不錯

至於老公仔則選了羊鞍,七乘熟
來到時,老公看了看,是兩塊較為迷你的羊鞍,有點擔心會吃不飽

不過吃法國菜都早已有這方面的心理準備
羊鞍肉質細緻鮮嫩,羊羶味不算太濃郁
至於薯菜亦很新鮮,唯始終略嫌份量少了一點

甜點我們都選了patisserie,今日有三款可供選擇,我當然選了我最喜愛的Mont Blanc
自從我在東京吃過Mont Blanc便深深地愛上了
蛋糕面堆滿了栗子蓉,配上栗子慕絲,甜而不膩
而內裡的一層蛋糕和脆餅底亦很美味

老公仔則點了Opera
Opera即是朱古力醬配咖啡蛋糕
和Mont Blanc一樣異曲同功,所用的朱古力醬不是太甜,沒有搶去咖啡蛋糕的味道
整體感覺一流,最重要是這個蛋糕較為膩,老公仔終於可以飽肚了

飲品方面,我選了Ice Lemon Tea,而老公仔則選了latte
說實話,這裡的凍檸檬茶與出面普通的無異,我甚至更愛勝香園的呢!

老公仔選的latte反而有驚喜,很香滑的咖啡,配上兩塊充滿牛油香味的曲奇餅,
配合餐廳舒適的環境,是一大樂事

老公仔還事前安排了特別驚喜:

服務員再端上了一碟蛋糕,今次特別在於碟邊用朱古力醬畫了"1000"
沒錯,"1000"是我們的一個里程碑,我們會繼續努力的!

兩個set lunch,加甜品,一共七百多元,值得的,因付出的不只是食物質素,還有餐廳的裝潢,服務,和格調

好友生日,她選了b仔及已預先訂了位慶祝,省了我不少時間去費神。先來兩款熱烘烘的法包,兩者也是超外脆內軟,再塗上鹹味的牛油,很少食餐前麵包的我,在眨眼間的速度下消滅了兩個。每人一碟煎鵝肝配蘋果醋-兩件又大又厚的鵝肝,未食已有溜的感覺,早知只要一客大家分享。雖是一件肥大的鵝肝,切開時已知質地較實,不是粉嫩甘腴,也沒有入口即化的效果;而醋汁濃度不夠,沒有了分解油脂的作用。然後每人一份主菜,我要"五星級大老鼠"的Ratatouille linguini,法國家常的雜菜意粉,我喜愛它的鮮濃的蕃茄醬分佈了每條扁意粉。好友的煎爐魚,賣相十分平凡,一向對外國人煮魚的方法並不欣賞,除了鹹外毫無鮮味,而且魚肉有點鬆散。看看甜品餐牌沒太大吸引,其實可以放棄,但又有點失落,我勉強要了是日蛋糕之一的Truffle再配上一球homemake的雲呢拿雪糕。這個Truffle水準只是一般,食後沒有叫人回味及難忘的感覺。而所謂homemake雪糕沒有我預期的香滑美味。好友的蘋果撻賣相較為精緻,層層疊疊的蘋果片,真是好考師傅的刀張。而味道方面,每片蘋果仍保持爽脆,可借太甜膩,失去了她原有的清香。這個所謂法國名牌,我沒有期
