路經這間越南餐廳已很多次,很想試,但常常因見到門外永遠有一條長長的人龍而卻步。有一天的中午,我「的」起心肝排隊,等了好一陣子才到我,但那位安排入座的男侍應卻將座位給了另一個比我遲來的客人,嬲嬲豬的我決定憤而離開。到了今天,見到餐廳雖然仍坐無虛席,但門口未見出現人龍,於是心癢癢的問那位負責安排座位的女侍應有沒有位,她很有禮貌的為我找了座位,還記得我提過想吃「蕃茄蟹湯檬」,於是即時替我落單。所以下次大家如果遇到不禮貌的對待,記得保持冷靜,不要為個別情況而錯失一個品嘗美食的機會。平時大家去越南餐廳,多數會點生熟牛肉、越南春捲、香茅豬扒之類的食物,但來到這裡,我會向大家推介這個「蕃茄蟹湯檬」,因我很少見到其他越南餐廳有這個湯檬(可能是我見識少),另一個原因是它的湯低熬得不錯,清得來又有濃濃蟹味,因有不少蟹膏,我幾乎喝了半碗。至於配料方面,除了有半隻蟹外,還有兩粒肉丸和數片札肉,當然不能沒有另一位主角 - 蕃茄。蟹不隻很大隻,肉也不多,但頗有鮮味,而且蟹殼亦不硬,可以用牙慢慢咬開蟹殼,所以吃起來不會覺得太困難,女士與男士約會也不用擔心失儀。而札肉、肉丸很不錯,頗彈牙,尤其肉丸,咬起來還有點肉汁。

建議多約幾位朋友一同來,就可以多叫幾款小食一同分享,雞翼、串燒都是這裡的熱門小食,大家可以試試。

Appalling services and extremely rude staff. Was given a queue ticket and told to wait outside the restaurant - which I did - because I "wasn't a full party". It was a cold, drizzly day and being stood outside the restaurant was hardly ideal. When I enquired fifteen minutes later, asking to be seated since there were visibly empty tables available in the restaurant, the staff at the till/entrance told me to wait outside again. It was a cold, drizzly day and being stood outside the restaurant was hardly ideal. When I enquired fifteen minutes later, asking to be seated since there were visibly empty tables available in the restaurant, the staff at the till/entrance told me to wait outside again. My explanation and assurance to them that my full party (which only constituted of a +1) would arrive in five minutes was met with rolling eyes by the staff members as they attended readily to a group of 7 that had arrived after me. It was ludicrously unreasonable. When my partner arrived shortly after and as we waited to present our queue ticket, we watched a couple - who'd just arrived at the restaurant - without a queue ticket get seated ahead of us. And for one more time, we were told to wait outside the restaurant. BEP's motives for services are irrational, tactless and so impossibly unreasonable; I do not recommend patronising this place. It is a risk to take when choosing to dine at a place like that - when respect and integrity towards customers isn't a consistent or existing directive. BEP has definitely been a massive letdown. Ultimately, we took that business opportunity that day from BEP and gave it to Mana Slow Food next door to it, and had a much more enjoyable meal out of it.

從中環一直沿扶手電梯上來SOHO,找了一會士丹頓街找不到,原來在另一面,我們不太熟路呢。青檸梳打$38: 都夠青檸味,又唔太甜,清新之選。蕃茄蟹檬$75: 湯底蕃茄味幾濃,又有蟹鮮味,略嫌有點咸,最正係有一堆堆蟹肉,扎肉味道不錯,但輸了給疑似貢丸的東西,口感軟得來有彈性,頗特別,也好味,未知是否自家出品,而檬粉樣子及口感像幼身的米線,不是印象中有點通透的檬粉。柚子蝦沙律$96: 有四大隻烤過的蝦,蝦肉結實而爽,柚子不酸不苦,幾甜多汁,蓮霧切成片狀清甜討好。我們坐在開放式廚房前,看著一些年輕越南女子勤快煮食,很有活力,令人感覺吃得很衛生,也看得到食材新鮮。

我們坐在開放式廚房前,看著一些年輕越南女子勤快煮食,很有活力,令人感覺吃得很衛生,也看得到食材新鮮。

We are regulars to this place, everything in the menu is great; you can notice on every dish that the way ingredients are fresh.Our favourites are the beef satay ( the peanut sauce is really good), and the bun vermicelli with honey glazed pork.I know I may sound like an advert of the place, but we are very enthusiastic about this place, it is our favourite in HK, any time that I have brought visitors they have enjoyed it as well.

平時比較少食越南菜 哩間係朋友介紹既 黎到餐廳門口見到咁多人仲有人等位開始有期待等左15分鐘到到我地喇 餐廳佈置簡單 多外國人食客。哩碗茄湯蟹麵用料十足呀 一碗滿就好多新鮮蕃茄 肉丸同蟹食 幾十蚊就有交易!佢個湯底好鮮 d麵吸晒湯底好好食!叫左雞同牛各2串 覺得牛肉俾雞好食 牛肉好林點喇沙醬食雞肉就一般 冇咩雞味 但都燒得好香!後面既墨黑餅真係食到粒粒墨魚 好爽口 。可惜餐廳冇泰式辣醬 此終覺得爭d。除左上面果2款 仲點左撈檬同柚子沙律個沙律好fresh 柚子好甜 大蝦爽口大隻 yummy!

叫左雞同牛各2串 覺得牛肉俾雞好食 牛肉好林點喇沙醬食

今次係第二次嚟,等一次嚟果時以為佢食西餐的,環境非常似西式餐廳。手語班終於畢業,我們揀了這作謝師宴而我點了蕃茄蟹檬,柚子蝦沙律。蕃茄蟹檬味道較濃,而且有種特別的味道,我和同學都試不出是什麼味道,不知是用了什麼煲這個湯,10分有6.5分。柚子蝦沙律非常清新,同蕃茄蟹檬絕配,用來中和蕃茄蟹檬的濃味,而蝦也非常好食,這個沙律不錯。10分有8分這間店晚上也非常爆滿,如果太多人建議Book位較好

It is located at Central and the best way to get there is to take the central escalator up until Hollywood Road and walk up the hill for 1 minute, but the location is slightly tricky so you may need to look for it.

The setting is quite modern as it is not a high end restaurant so the atmosphere is quite down to the earth, almost like a fast food restaurant. During the weekday lunch period, you mostly need to line up for 15 minutes for seating. Waitress are all english speaking, but they will be glad to assist you in other languages. I ordered their 2 course lunch set with my beloved beef noodle and salad with crispy pork belly.

In my opinion, the pho noodle is still one of the best in HK as I have been to many Vietnam restaurants, whether it is high end, michelin recommended, or small home made type. The broth to me is the best with the right amount of flavour and spice. Beef is rare and tendered. Definitely very good quality. Noodles does not stick together, and it is smooth. Onion and are fresh and not over cooked (I skipped the coriander as I personally dont like the taste of this specific herb). The combination of above definitely makes it my flavour. I have been to Vietnam before, and I found BEP's broth suit my own taste bud the most. I cannot tell whether it is authentic taste or not, but nevertheless it is good to me. P.S. Portion is good.

For the pork belly salad, it is fresh but the meat is a bit cooled down as I believe they were prepared upfront in mass for the lunch time peak hours. Therefore, it is a bit disappointed.

Price wise, my two orders come at 90 HKD, which I think is reasonable. BEP earns my high recommendation as I have been to this place many times. The quality is also been consistent. (Maybe not as good during the weekday rush hours) The variety of choice may not been as many as I wish but it is the taste it matter to me the most. I will keep coming back as it is definitely earns my respect whenever I am craving for Vietnamese noodles.

Lunch: (1) pomelo salad w grilled prawns - refreshing pomelo salad and the prawns were very fresh and grilled/seasoned well; (2) pho - usually my go to place for pho...soup base was solid and beef was tender BUT this time the noodles were a bit mushy (Brass Spoon may be slightly better...for now). OVERALL - decent. SUGGEST - skewers, pho. How I rate: awesome > decent > meh > terrible.

Dined here about a dozen times and have never been disappointed with the food. Smallish menu but all dishes cooked with fresh ingredients and skill. My only beef with this place is their tiresome policy of not seating patrons unless the entire party is there. Total POA. Other than that, it's a great place to experience modern and authentic Vietnamese dishes.

今次嚟到中環半山蘇豪區嘅BEP就咁聽個名應該唔係太知佢食乜嘢但係一search openrice 就見到好多食評都大讚間越南野好好味原來間鋪頭就係喺Puxx fitness 嘅格來好容易搵嘅咋同朋友星期五晚都只係等左15分鐘左右就有得入去啦驟眼睇全部都係外國人我哋好好彩坐係窗邊嘅位置真係唔覺得自己係香港嘅餐廳食緊飯因為每台都喺度講英文 真係好搞笑我哋今次叫咗三樣嘢牛肉米卷,第二個就係豬扒撈檬,第三個燒蝦撈檬首先上黎就係豬扒檬粉豬扒呢多到滿瀉為咗撈下面嘅檬粉我哋都夾晒出嚟先你睇吓全部都係豬扒(中間嗰碟)本身都掙扎緊叫唔叫燒蝦撈檬始終出名嘅係牛河Openrice又冇人點睇過提過但係我哋又想試下喎所以最後都叫咗果然冇令我失望燒蝦燒得非常之香外面有少少甜嘅亦都係有少少炭香味如果食蝦尾嘅朋友可以食埋個真係好脆好好食配埋少少豬肉,感覺冇咁單調不過個份量就比較少我諗男士們都需要嗌湯河 或者加底先夠飽啦牛肉卷我就覺得冇乜特別但係牛肉好香配埋啲香葉個感覺都幾清新餐牌上仲有好多野都想試下試一定會再黎過架

平日較少來中環,友人推薦這間餐廳出名且好食,不少人都會慕名而來。幸好我地7點幾左右就來到,餐廳雖然滿位,但等了10分鐘就可以入座,後來8點左右人龍便開始多了。雖然是中式食物,但餐廳裝潢頗有氣氛、反而有啲來到西式餐廳既感覺,餐廳人客亦有不少外國人光臨。河內魚餅撈檬:撈檬的分量少,配料簡單,魚餅沒有想像的好食,味道很一般,不是太滿意,不推薦。生牛肉湯檬:分量多過撈檬,可能有湯既關係食完係飽肚,因為友人食完撈檬係一啲都唔飽。湯底好好飲,冬天食尼碗湯檬真係一流,因為夠晒濃郁且熱辣辣,食完即刻暖晒,牛肉好味又夠嫩,配料得芽菜,但太生,浸左落去湯都係生生地,所以啲芽菜唔會入味,擠少少檸檬酸落湯檬增加風味、更加開胃,值得推薦👍熟牛肉湯檬:湯底、配料一樣,好味的。唯一唔同就係牛肉,熟牛肉沒有生牛肉好食,但分別不太大,只是生牛肉比較嫩,食起來比較入口即融既感覺。價錢好似與生牛肉的一樣,建議選擇前者啦😆整體來說,識食一定食湯檬,生牛肉就首選。但價錢有點較貴,明白港島區消費係會高些少既,但未至於刻意排隊黎食。

I vistied this restaurant last Wed and booked a table for 3. We love vietnamese food, so we were looking forward to having lunch here. We ordered a bowl of pho each and also some dishes to share. Beef Pho:
The pho was very good. The soup was very tasty with herbs and taste of the beef. The beef was tender and the pho had good texture.

Shrimp salad:
The salad was nice, had a very good dressing and it was a very good dish to start off with. The shrimp was also fresh, but there weren't many of them.

Banh mi:
We also orders a banh mi sandwich to share and it was also very nice. The bread was crunchy and the  ingredients were very fresh and tasty.

Overall, for a vietnamese food lover, I would recommend this place as the dishes are very authentic. The pho is very good and I would come back again.

OT叫外賣,試咗番茄蟹檬。湯同檬粉分開裝,唔會浸到冧bea bea。個湯底睇落有D油,但因為有成個番茄喺入面,唔會油膩。湯底仲好足料,半隻蟹,size唔大,但令到個湯底好鮮甜。檬粉硬度適中,同個湯好夾。配料有肉碎,兩粒肉丸,入面有香菇,好香。另外有一大碗芽菜同金不換,可隨意加(外賣先有?)仲有一小盒青檸同辣椒片,作調味用。湯底辣辣地,更加惹味。$88一碗,呢個價唔算平,但真心值

Bep 一向都係中環好出名嘅越南粉面餐廳,我都吃過數次, 今次約朋友係度吹水吃dinner, 正!Bep 裝修一d 都唔輸俾其他soho 嘅餐廳。十分modern. 今次叫左炸雞翼同埋燒猪頸肉佐酒。 炸雞翼超脆口,配上啤酒味道不比韓國炸雞差~ 燒猪頸肉都好好味, 唔會太多味精粉調味,送飯一流~ lol
